Adding to this Lundy actually has a better Save% than Broduer. So it amazes me that the devils are right there within 2 pts of being division leaders. Defense anyone? How can Lundy face more shots make more saves than broduer and we are 10th in the standings while the devils are 6th yet are 2 pts from division lead and moving into 2nd or 3rd in the conference. Defense anyone? The team in front of Lundy is horrid.

It's fine getting on Lundqvist and acknowledging when he lets in a bad goal. But alot of people love going off the deep end and say flat out stupid stuff. There's a big difference.

The definition of a masochist - I'll be away until Thursday night, but I programmed the DVR to watch the game on Thursday when I get home.
As for tonight, this team is going in the wrong direction. They wasted a great performance by Callahan, gutty performances by some other guys. But they just have way too much dead wood on this team to be contenders for anything. Boyle, Bickel, Mashinter, these are not NHL players. And Richards and Gaborik are near invisible. If you're going to ice such crap, you need your goalie to stop reading his press clippings, to go to a few less guitar jam sessions and to stand on his head in games. That he certainly hasn't done. Mostly he hasn't been bad, except for tonight and one or two others, but this isn't all-world goaltending. And it makes him look even worse that the Rangers offense makes the other teams goalie look like the second coming of Dominik Hasek and Patrick Roy combined.
One other thought - can we decline the power play?

They need to implement a rule that the team getting the power play can choose to take the PP, or just have two minutes run off the clock. Would benefit the Rangers since we give up more chances than we generate.
