Hope Hayes is ok. He looked to have taken the brunt of the force across the top part of his back (good), avoiding joints maybe except the neck.

Kreider has 1 goal in his last 5 games and kind of cold in a cold month and it`s soon christmas.. What is going on in New York?
Maybe some are thinking about hot bath tubes and fluffy fruit drinks on Bahamas, and just want this season to be over soon as possible. Perhaps the start of the rebuild finally shows in the standing.. Anyway I enjoy Buch recently when he was back from injury - so I cross fingers and I hope he continue to be productive for us - Rangers still plays sometimes good hockey so it won`t be an easy game for Vegas who is doing much better than Rangers in their last 10 games. :nod:

This is a game the Rangers need to take decisively. VGK’s have been on a long road trip, take advantage of it.

Hope they double up on their morning coffee, this start time is brutal.

Let’s f***ing go.

Nah. He’s in for Mika; we’re going with seven defensemen and Kreider is scratched. Fast will be double shifted. Butch, Chytil and Andersson United on the fourth line. Staal on the second line and Zuccarello on the first defensive pairing. The tank is on.

Why do they NEED to win win and better yet why decisively? Do we really need to send a message to the league this year? Lol

I hope we play well and lose. Losing to teams we should lose to is fine with me. Losing to AZ like that is unacceptable.
 
The Rangers are just as close to the bottom of the conference as they are to a playoff spot (which Pittsburgh is going to run away with.)

There is finally some separation occurring between the legitimate playoff teams and those that clearly aren't. I suspect a few teams that have gotten off to rough starts are going to go on a run to make thing interesting, but this group isn't one of them.

Winning does nothing for this team, I hope they get smoked.

You might be close with this prediction. Funny, pre game on msg, expects a goaltenders matchup.....kind of think you will be closer.

I say Vegas 7, Rangers 5. Yes, in regulation with empty netter.
