He’s expected to be held to perfection. Any time he’s anything less, even approaching what some call, human, the mouth breathing, bender fan base piles on.
Come on. Admit he hasn’t been at his best today. I love Hank. The team in front of his is crap, but that doesn’t excuse some of the goals that should be saves.

So you're ok with him giving up both of those goals?

Interesting

Wasn’t calling you out. I agree he should have had the last one.

My point was that people expect him to be perfect every single game and give up no goals. He’s a human being just like any of us. Good days, bad days, days he feels like shit from the moment he wakes up and has low energy, etc etc etc.

He’s had immense pressure put on him recently and for the last few years to over perform to mask the extreme deficiencies this team has had for a while

It’s just sad how quickly some fans get on him as if he’s the issue with the team.

Except that’s not what happens. I haven’t shamed anyone! If you feel shame, that’s on you. I also can see you’re trying to bait me into an argument, of which I have no interest, so carry on with your nihilistic quest to burn it all down.
don't bother man.Someone needs some attention today. Not worth arguing especially when name calling commences on here. Not interested in name calling over a keyboard. Its cowardly.

Sadly,he is an issue right now with his lack of goaltending.I'm sure he would be the 1st person to admit that too.

Over reaction imo, nevesis. Pretty much every player on this team has been criticized to some extent. It's not like Hank is being blamed for much other than giving up a couple of softies.

The goaltender unfairly gets blame by those who don’t understand the game going on in front of a goaltender.

Valiquette talked about this the other night. It’s the easy way out and the quickest person to blame is the one who’s neck is sunburned by the goal lamp.

I gotta say i agree. Not with calling out the fans as much in your earlier post, but hes not the issue with this team. Clearly. Never been.

I wonder how this team feels knowing that some of their fans wants them to loose games.

This team stinks and the D is garbage but Hank is very clearly having a bad game today. I’m at the game and he just looks so off. Fighting every shot. Looks like last season.

This is silly.nobody is claiming he needs to be perfect and that he doesn't get much help defensively, but he also has to make ROUTINE saves too.

There is no way it’s 100% Hanks fault but let’s focus on just this game.
Hank has allowed 2 bad goals we should be winning 4-3 not losing.
I believe Hanks mentally and physically shot—AV trying to save his job is not going to stop putting him out there.
I’m sure it’s more frustrating for him starting the year playing bad then having a very good run looking like the old Hank then back to the goalie from the start of the season.

To be fair, he has had a very up and down season. Started horribly, followed by very strong play and, currently, looking his age. He hasn't been very good since the break.
It's not an indictment of the guy. He has been ridden hard.
