AEW All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor #10: 2025 Is The Year of Wheeler Yuta

Swerve should be their #1 guy. Only problem is his 2nd title run should be heel to make it feel different than the first but they wouldn't cheer against him. They'd need to make him ally with Jericho or something lol.

I could see Adam Copeland winning, but I have a hard time seeing Tony going with Christian as the world champion. Is that something they need to do again with those two?

Maybe Cope doesn't win the title. He and Moxley beat the crap out of each other then Christian waltzes in to make it a triple threat and he wins by pinning or submitting Cope.

Pretty sure Christian is Tony’s fav wrestler, he’d absolutely put the belt on him.

He shouldn’t because he rly shouldn’t be recycling TNA champions 15 years later but Christian is at least on that world title level in AEW. He’s been pretty great at everything he’s done.

The one way to pay off the Death Riders is if some babyface like Ospreay or Darby gets the big win over them with how happy people would be they’re champion over Moxley. Cope win and Christian cash in … is not that.

We’re talking about an Edge/Christian championship win and another feud in 2025?? These companies just can’t get enough of late 90’s wrestling. These guys are in their 50’s now?

Daniel Garcia. TNT Champion. Lost in the shuffle of a large roster. He has been on TV, sometimes, but in terms of a title run it's as if he's not a champion.

I agree, I just think the angle is floundering and Tony might audible. I think Darby was the plan all along but with him doing the Everest trip how close is he to returning?

I assume any pivot would involve Darby winning the title a little bit sooner but that crazy bastard is so hellbent on doing the Everest climb.

They could still do Darby/Mox at All In with no world title instead and have Darby finally get his big win over Mox propelling him into a post-All In run to get there.

Edge and Christian involved in their main program. Their tag champs are a stable of guys in their 50s basically. MJF cutting promos on Jarrett and Dustin Rhodes. Chris Jericho still heavily featured. Billy Gunn still lurking around. I don't know how they expect to grow their company leaning on B-level main eventers and mid-carders from 2 decades ago. The top of their roster looks like a mid-summer episode of Smackdown on MyNetworkTV.

Guys like Jericho and Edge are laughing their way to the bank. Tons of creative influence and still making top dollar wrestling in their 50s.

This Moxley run has been stupid but Edge should not be winning unless he immediately gets cashed on in, but that would be by Christian, who we also don't need as champ and Edge-Christian has been done a million times.

Only way this works is if:

>Edge wins
>Christian cashes in
>Edge costs Christian the belt against pretty much anyone (Jay White/Swerve/Ospreay/Kenny/Darby/Hangman/MJF or even Mox again)
>Edge vs. Christian part 27 is a B level feud I can fast forward through.

So if I am reading this correctly, AEW PPV's will now stream on Prime at no extra cost on top of the Prime membership cost?

That could be the right price to get me to tune in possibly
to offer AEW pay-per-view events for purchase to fans across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom

Means you can buy them via Prime Video as well.

this would seem to say otherwise

These AEW pay-per-view events join Prime Video’s selection of live sports globally, including Thursday Night Football, NBA, NHL, UEFA Champions League at no added cost on Prime,
Hmm, it does seem contradictory. Logic dictates that WB would be foolish to let a rival streaming service offer something "for free" that one has to pay for on their service. 🤔

If you have Prime it is free, if you just have a basic Amazon account it is a pay-per-view.
