Me after turning off the game up 3-1 with a 2-man advantage.
Well, he is the least of the Rangers problems, to be fair.Hank is completely beyond reproach with some people. When the team loses it's in spite of him when they win it's because of him. He walks on water.
Yea, Severson and Vatanen are not bad. Butcher is alright, too. With Shattenkirk out, Butcher, Vatanen, and Severson might be our three best defensemen.
And some would say he is the biggest problem, if we are tanking.Well, he is the least of the Rangers problems, to be fair.
Yeah the advanced stats definitely match the eye test this month. They've been brutal.Remember when our adjusted xGF% was creeping towards the top 5? It's almost bottom 5 now.
In 25+ years, this has been one of the worst months of hockey I've seen them play.

You’re biased in favor of Henrik, so yes. You are going to say that. No offense.Lol, easy to say that from your coach. That Stepan shot was a perfect snipe. No goalie stops that.
We had our chances, and failed. Simple as that.
I've called out Henrik many times...he's let in some horrible goals over the years...he wasn't why we lost tonight...I'm surprised so many people thought he was. The rangers just stopped playing after they scored their 3rd.You’re biased in favor of Henrik, so yes. You are going to say that. No offense.
The OEL blast was a knucklepuck AND he got absolutely all of it, as Stepan did. He got beat by two absolute snipes. Blaming the goaltender on those is just asinine.
It's as you stated. The team absolutely didn't play in the 3rd period. You're in control of the game going into the 3rd, up 3-1. No excuse for what they did.
No one is mentioning the 2-on-0, and eventually a breakaway save in OT right before the Stepan goal. Howden missed his opportunity, Zibanejad had a good chance. OT is run and gun.
We had our opportunity to control the game in the 3rd and they thought they could take the night off and win. They deserved to lose this game.
Just a brutal loss.[/QUOTE]
Yup. I would almost want a 7-0 blowout loss than a gut wrenching loss after blowing another multiple goal lead. Unfortunately I think there are plenty more to follow.
Unfortunately, I agree. He made some nice passes and plays from time to time, but I was left wanting more every time. And not good defensively.DeAngelo was awful tonight....just awful...one of the worst games I've seen him play. Yuck.
Also...just so there's no confusion...I'm 100% biased in favor of Doritos. Doritos can do no wrong. You’re biased in favor of Henrik, so yes. You are going to say that. No offense.
Lmao you and @nevesis are putting words in my mouth. I specifically said I blame both the team and Henrik, but apparently, I can’t blame Henrik on hfboards.I've called out Henrik many times...he's let in some horrible goals over the years...he wasn't why we lost tonight...I'm surprised so many people thought he was. That was a garbage game with two garbage teams, but the 3v3 was fantastic.
The NHL needs to drop the shootout and just keep doing that until somebody wins.
I distinctly remember you saying this loss was completely totally 500% on henrik...I think it was the same post where you said Sharknado deserved and Oscar?Lmao you and @nevesis are putting words in my mouth. I specifically said I blame both the team and Henrik, but apparently, I can’t blame Henrik on hfboards.
At leas the 3v3 resembles the gameBoth are a gimmick and half the 3 on 3 is spent passing back and forth to not lose possession.
Lol touché.I distinctly remember you saying this loss was completely totally 500% on henrik...I think it was the same post where you said Sharknado deserved and Oscar?
The thing is, if the players aren’t enjoying themselves, they won’t play to the best of their abilities. That’s just natural.
I have less of a problem with that than lets say, Smith stupid penalty that caused a momentum swing in that other game. Not for nothing but if Pionk didn’t take that stupid penalty, after he himself crashed into Hank, we probably hold the lead. Coyotes had nothing going at that point. Completely changed the momentum of the game. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
Is it just me or does Howden fan on the puck a lot? That was a pretty bad time for him to fan on it in OT, prob should’ve scored there.
Do People actually think this team isn't a bottom feeder?
Dont EVEN get me wrong......I am NOT happy by no means, just for a change, I am really in touch with reality. I dont want shots of instant gratification. Hank wants that, and understandably many do. I get it......its just that i am too old, and not willing to do this half assed. Sacrifice a ljttle here and there, and maybe just maybe we will get a few players that will be amazing with the Kravtsovs, K'Andre's, Buchnevich's, and the rest of those worth a damn....with any luck.To be honest with you Larry, as much as I would love a top 5 pick, I cannot be happy with a loss like this. In fact, I physically can't be happy with a loss ever.
Its an "option", but i think everyone is thinking it belongs to Pittsburgh. I mean, why wouldn't anyone even half believe that? They dominate for a decade, have ONE bad year, get a generational player and then they are well on their way again. Our pick, will probably jump off a high rise building. Our luck anyway, not like something similar hasnt happened to us.Why is Hughes not an option?
