Why does everyone care so much about losing in regulation? Losing in any way is bad for the team. It kills morale, which kills performance on the ice. Which can stunt the development of our young players.

I do get it, though. I want that top 3-5 pick as well, but I would rather have a happy team and let our prospects have fun.

It's not really happy, it's more like it doesn't even bother me anymore.

I would prefer losing enough to secure a great pick. Dont want to be 1 effin point over another tam that takes a MUCH better pick than what we get, for a player we WANTED. SO, who will remember losing here? Actually just Hank, who i feel sorry for.

Hank was solid but has no support.
Zucc and Buch are great. Glad to have em back.

Hank let up 2 bad goals. We have to stop blaming only the team if he has a bad game. I blame both.

Buch and Zucc missing time leading to constantly shifting lines and guys playing up in the lineup prob contributes to that.

We should hope to see those numbers start to go back up as they get healthy and guys get more solid in the lineup. Although if Hayes misses time and with shatty already out who knows.

We have Zibanejad and maybe between Chytil, Andersson and Howden we will get another one.
After this game I finally came to the conclusion that we have 0 defensemen on this roster for the long term, we have to pray that at least 75% of Miller, Lundkvist, Hajek, Rykov, Lindgren, Day, Bigras and cia are decent enough to have a chance in the next 5 years.
What a shit show is this defense, it's f***ing unbelievable.
