Some of you approve of this, I don't know why you'd be complaining. It's ridiculous, but hopefully AV will be gone in the offseason.

Seems weird to start Hayes at wing and Chytil at center but I guess it's really just juggling the lineup to see what you have with these guys. If Chytil and Andersson excel at center then what do you do with Zibanejad, Hayes, Chytil, and Andersson down the middle?

Probably trade Hayes is what happens

Pumped to see the kids in action. I'm sure Buch and Namestikov will see more than 4th line ice time. Couldn't care less if McLeod or any of the scratches are in the lineup. Too bad one of Gropp or Tambellini haven't developed to the point of getting a shot in NY.

is Gropp a bust at this point?

One of them goes to wing at that point...

Zibanejad would make a fine winger

AV can be a doofus with lines but I dont really see a solution that makes everyone happy.

Its impossible to keep the KZF line intact, keep Hayes at center, have Buch in the top 6, put Andersson and Chytil in the top 9, with Chtyil at center and not demote Vesey to the 4th line after scoring 2 goals.

I'm going to get heat for this but I'm going to make the devil's advocate argument for why I'm okay with dressing McLeod... here's the thing, maybe having to potentially fight someone deters only 0.03% of bad behavior on the ice. But all things else being equal (and honestly not caring if we win or lose the game) that's better than 0%. At this late stage of the season, all that matters is keeping players safe and healthy for the future. And also developing young guys like Andersson and Chytil (who aren't playing with McLeod). Maybe deterring that slight, slight, slight amount of bad behavior is more important than playing a guy who has zero future with the team (like Carey or Holland).

Who the hell would approve of this outside of Reijo29 and Bleed Ranger Blue AKA the AV apologists?

As I mentioned yesterday, there was one viable solution, and obviously it wasn't put into play because that would be too logical for AV. The coach deserves 0 outs, he's paid 1M+ to coach a hockey team. I have zero sympathy for him with these choices. If you are going to cheer Vesey and Fast in the top 9, you have no room to complain about the lineup. If you are going to insist rookies play center, don't complain when your best defensive center is pushed to the wing. You can't create extra spots. You get a choice of what you want, and you make that choice.

Edit: I'm not referring specifically to you, more the general consensus of what I've read the last few days/week.
