Gauthier is going to be a very effective NHL player.

I can see him becoming a great all situations middle six winger that has size, speed, physicality, and two way play that can contribute at a 20-25-45 clip.

He's always had that dirty edge to his game, as far as I recall.

Benn never was dirty. He had an edge to him for sure and that's why up until he got that contract where he got paid two years ago, he might have been the top power forward in the league.

Not anymore. His skills have seriously declined and very noticeably as well. Which is why I think he's getting into all this physicality BS and often times it teeters on being dirty.

It's a shame cause I like I said, I used to like him alot and loved owning him in fantasy as well. Now he's just meh!!

Thats why I posted earlier about Kaako. He took a shot shortly after he scored his 1st goal. Showed some confidence on a shot he prob wouldn't have taken earlier. We all love to rip on Howden these days but we forget he is 21 years old and has room to grow. He is showcasing some of his potential tonight and I don’t think a 3rd line center in the mold of a Dubinksy is an unreasonable ceiling for him if he continues developing
