I was figuring Gettinger to play center but they could call up Hajek and move Smith back to wing or just run 11 forwards - 7 defenseman

Why are we moving Smith back to forward?

Gauthier is going to be a very effective NHL player.

I can see him becoming a great all situations middle six winger that has size, speed, physicality, and two way play that can contribute at a 20-25-45 clip.

Really liking his game so far.

Totally agree. You can see the skill set on the kid and he's so f'n big and fast for his size.

Gorton might have fleeced another team with this Gautier addition as with a little bit more seasoning, some coaching up, he really could be a key addition to the club going forward.

One thing we definitively don't have to worry about is Gautier ever getting out of shape with his Dad a former Mr.Canada and Gautier absolutely ripped and in great shape.

Playing Kakko with Mika and Buchnevich is what he needs at this point. He’s ready for the added responsibility play the kid. DiGi should not be in that spot it’s silly.

I think he is going to have a strong sophomore season. I like to see him get some playoff experience this year.

I want the playoff experience for this team as a whole. It's good that we have lot of players with experience from big games, Panarin, Zibanejad, Kreider, Lundqvist, Kakko, Shestjorkin etc...

But I guess it's still different in the NHL level.
