That was one of those awesome games where everyone pulled their weight. I dont have issue with anybody, they all played their balls off. Boone and JVR were magic together. Fabbro had a great game. Bottom 6 was steady.

Tarry doesnt get enough credit. I dont know what he did but he looks like a different goalie.

Yeah, he seems much calmer in net, still a train wreck trying to play the puck

Facially, 86 always reminded me of someone. He is relentless and that diving play last night it finally clicked. With the long hair and beard and non-stop effort, he reminds me of the most intimidating rugby player ever.

Also in the spirit of transparency and fairness from my pregame comments, I think it’s only right for me to point out that Tarasov played well yesterday. Especially without having played for a month. Good stuff for him.

I have been assembling a list of “that’d be a good name for a band” for about 15 years with my daughter’s help. For a long time, she was saving them as ai said them without me even knowing. Since I found out, it’s been a joint labor of love.

Anyway, Distinct Kicking Motion is on the list, as are a number of other hockey-related random phrases.
For anyone interested, the only additional obviously hockey-related "great band names" from the aforementioned list is Toe Drag Snipe. That said, the list also includes The Midget Granlund, which I believe was something lapsed poster @blahblah posted regarding not wanting to acquire a certain small forward; Nevermind Bread was also a pot here about everyone's favorite garage owner; and Small Talent Pond, which also came from an HF post but is not obviously about hockey.

EDIT:
Haha I'm finding some others the came from HF that aren't hockey-related names an so I didn't recall that they were from here:

Went to the game last night. First time at Little Caesers Arena. For being 7 years old now, I was thoroughly impressed. Clean, spacious and the comfiest seats I’ve sat in at any stadium. Wings fans were generally easy going as well.

Also considering the 2 points it was definitely a fun road trip. Looking forward to the outdoor game tomorrow!
