I love Girardi, and I'm so happy he stuck around. Great Contract for a great player. Quite frankly, he's twice what Klein is, and his contract reflects that

I think this was a very solid signing. Very glad to have Dan back.

Looking over yesterday's roster was interesting. Our defensive core of Lundqvist, McDonagh and Girardi is comprised of 7th round pick, an undrafted free agent, and possibly one of the best trade/steals in NHL history. Not one of the three is a 1st or even a higher round pick by us.

Of the twelve forwards, only three were drafted by the Rangers. Kreider being one of only two first round picks in the entire line up.

It's interesting to compare how the current line up was built against other top teams.
