Been thinking the same thing for a few weeks. His skating looks odd too, like he can't or won't take a full stride. I would have thought he was playing injured except it makes no sense now with it being announced that are we going to rebuild, plus the amount of other injuries we've had
I agree, but I don't know if it's an injury or he's just slowed down for some reason.

Have we really become worse than the Senators? This is going to be a painful couple years to watch hockey.

Only to find out your rebuild might end up like the Islanders or Oilers and you may need to rebuild from a rebuild.
We could also end up like the Hawks or Pens. I willing to try a different strategy after coming up short so many times.

Everyone has been really. Zucc just looks cooked to me. It could definitely be how bad the season is going and feeling like he’s going to be traded, but based off of what we’re seeing there is no way I would give him a raise and a several year extension.

He’s a small player who has always had to fight for his space. It’s likely, in my opinion, that a decline for him could be sharp when it occurs due to it being harder to find space and win battles as the body slows a bit.
Agreed 100%. I just said because it seens around here that Zibanejad is the only one who is not playing to his talent.

We're not a basement team to begin with. Endless rebuilds only happen when you're a basement team with terrible management.

Nice by Mika. He would have got there quicker if he wasn't a DJ...

Still don't understand Skjei over ADA on the PP

You’re missing the point and it’s not even one that I’m trying to argue vehemently but, when a player is going to be very public about having divided attention and a flashy off ice lifestyle, his play is always going to end up being looked at under the microscope of divided attention. If Lundqvist’s game had fallen apart when he started getting involved in restaurant ownership or casual fashion shoots people would have questioned his on ice commitment. If Subban wasn’t consistently having all star seasons people would wonder if all of his off ice videos and charity work were distracting him from his job. I’m not making any statements about Z. I’m simply saying he opened himself up to these types questions.

Last season we had posters critizing Hank for the clothes he wore, the amount of fashion shows he attended and even the fact that he owned a Lamborghini was a sore thumb for some posters.

Subban is still getting heat for his personality from people who think all hockey players should be Paul Bunyan.

People will always find excuses to justify their dislike for players the dont like, whether it is because jealousy or just plain hate.
