It should be IMO. This is definitely a make/break year for Tortorella. Hes got the pieces. His stubborness will eventually be his undoing at some point. Only a matter of time.

Well to be fair, they should be much better than they have played recent seasons.

There is a serious hypocrisy in all that. Ruff apparently "rode" these great teams to prominence.

According to this board, our team is great, Torts is just an idiot who doesn't know how to coach. Shouldn't this supposed "great" team carry him then?

I can agree Nash has played well. Very well.
But he has been frustratingly ineffective.
His shooting % is at a very meager 5.3% this year
Previous years it has been:

This is why I'm not concerned about him, his shooting % almost has to go up at some point.

I totally remember that goal. Was pretty sick. Especially since I think he caught it around the blue line and stayed on side somehow.

Hypothetical =/= real.

He could hypothetically have the Rangers go on an 8-2 run; he cold hypothetically have the Ranger go on a 2-8 run.

If that latter happens, I'd be open to taking some bets against those who say he won't be sweating bullets.
