Post-Game Talk: Rangers @ Senators 2/21/13 - Miller Light

The Rangers are an unlucky team. No doubt. But if you're looking for one with "****tier" luck, take a look across the ice tonight.

That team was missing their three best players, two of which are better than any of the Rangers skaters, and their goalie who has been having a Vezina caliber season was helped off the ice.

The Rangers didn't lose this game because they are unlucky.

Ya but.... we've been unluckier longer :p:

Can you people stop waiting around and just jump already. Jesus Christ. We still got a point in a game we had no business winning.

Henrik gets every star, award, etc.

To that, I say BS. They let the thing float away, on clouds of not quite good enough. Close, but no cigar, once again.

In general he needs to be better. Sorry but it's the truth. He just hasn't been good enough. No one on this team has.

Hank needs to be better? I dunno how much more he could do for this group of ****s in front of him.

Theyre making him look bad.

It floors me how bad Lundqvist has been too. And before people get on me, for HIM, this is bad. Real bad. Another guy that didn't play during the lockout.

Season is ****ed.

Lundy is fine the tying goal he made two saves before the puck was put in. The team is not matching his intensity. On that goal it means that Ottawa shot the puck, nobody picked up their man, they shot again, nobody picked up their man, and they finally shot and put it home, why? nobody picked up their man. You cant have shot rebound, shot rebound, rebound shot for goal. The shorthanded goal was weak defense as well. The guy skates to the front of the net all by himself. The team is not matching Lundy's play. If he gives up two goals we cant win. Horrendous intensity for this team.

The Imbecile of the game:
Bryan Boyle.

It does seem they need to move him out, the guys makes too much money to be just a PKer, Powe can do what he does for cheaper.............I would move him ASAP........team needs another shake up unfortunately.

Although Nash may be all the team really needs. He likely gets more offense out of these guys. Lets pray he's back next game

The shootout was a perfect ending. Miller beats Bishop, fans on shot and misses. Hank follows the puck the whole way, Daugavins fans and slips through.

I'm so ****ing pissed.

Oh, from this blow I may never recover. Poor Vezina dude.:naughty:

Not going to lie, I lol'd hard when Miller missed. It was so typical of the game up to that point. Gabby hits the post in OT, Miller just flubs it, and Daugavins (can't spell) has the puck slide off his stick too, yet it goes right through the five-hole

I'm sure every fanbase feels this way, but when's the last time the bounces went the Rangers way?

Not happy with the level of play. Not happy that Torts can't adjust to teams with goalies who can actually play the puck. But points in 6 of the last 7, hard to complain, right?

Hope Nash can meet the team in MTL

He was AWFUL on that first shootout attempt, a ****ing farce. This is not the first goal he gives up like that too. Ridiculous. The second shootout goal was tougher to blame on him, I bet he got fooled because he ****ing flubbed the shot. The goals in the game weren't his fault. I fail to see how he was that terrible.

Still pissed off that garbage first shootout goal. WTF was he doing? Looked like a bad ECHL backup. Complete unacceptable.

needs to bury one of the two shots he has Point Blank in OT.

No excuse not to put one in there.

other than that, he was VERY noticable tonight.

The guy is supposed to strike fear in the other team. He doesnt do that at all. He doesnt look dangerous with the puck. He is super streaky and very lazy out there.

Something is wrong with this team, and I don't mean the fact that Nash was not in the lineup.

Something missing. Not feeling very good about this team right now.

What's missing? Their first round pick.

But seriously what's missing? The never quit attitude from last year. Even when we were down I thought we would win. This year, we could be up a goal and I am afraid we might lose. They just coast through every game. I don't even get it.

kreider/mcdonagh/callahan

kreider got us 2 pp's out of nowhere, should've baited the third with the 'trip' that injured andersson. mcdonagh was everywhere. most important player on the ice tonight. certainly better than lundqvist. callahan was important tonight as well. hagelin and stepan honorable mentions, but those shootout attempts smh...

Can you people stop waiting around and just jump already? Jesus Christ. Every loss is a mass suicide and every win is a ****ing circle jerk. We still got a point in a game we had no business winning.

Henrik gets every star, award, etc.

As if that's supposed to be comforting against an AHL squad. :biglaugh:

"I know life is unfair, but why cant it be unfair in my favor".

Also, and I swear this has nothing to do with his flubbed SO attempt, Miller is nowhere near NHL full-time ready. Kid needs to be back in Hartford as quick as he can.

I think Kreider has definitely outplayed him the past two games.

2 goal posts on empty nets, and Miller completely missed an empty net (wished he woulda hit the post)...not to mention a 3rd post in there as well.

unbelievable, the hockey gods are angry at us.

Yea. He is right at the top of the list of biggest problems we have.
