News 4 just reported on the Nets plans - testing only through their approved lab 72 hours in advance, plus a rapid test at the door on game day. $200 testing cost paid by each fan in addition to the cost of the game ticket - yikes!

Was that on the news or on their website? That's brutal if so. Bills charged I think $60 or $70.
They should charge $0 because tests are free at many easily available city testing centers

And proof of vaccination or antibodies should be just as good.

I'm not paying for a test, F U

Places like CityMD test folks no questions asked, and code it such that it is billable to insurance. I would use them every time, unless MSG requires a different lab facility than what CityMD uses.

I spoke to my rep today, expect an email with details this afternoon. Not going to share what I was told incase things change and I don't want to get peoples hopes up.

Tickets should go on sale next Tuesday though.

there has to be over 2000k season ticket holders....to put it bluntly all season ticket holders should get first refusal

i know that might suck for others but honestly if they want them, they can pay me for them

17 home games 2/26+, 2000 x 17 = 34000 available tickets

Est. what?, about 8,000-9,000 accounts including full and partial for maybe 13,000 total full seats

Let's say 4000 full season accounts, give them each a priority for 2 tickets to a game. That's like priority for a pair to 3 games each, and then 10,000 left over to offer partial plan holders so like one pair to one game each

wow that is HUGE if true

It would be, honestly I hope thats the case because there is going to be a limited number of STH's who actually want to go and put up with the testing process. I would be pissed if 25% or whatever of the allocated tickets were being resold by people who have no interest in going.

With mobile only entry I'm sure someone can write a script like NJ Transit uses to make tickets change colors if they're screen recorded or a screen shot to ensure the original owner is there.

Ah didn't know that. Oh well.
The testing requirement creates a big issue legally speaking. According to current law, if a testing requirement is in place then it would apply to the ultimate ticket holder and require them to meet that requirement when presenting the ticket at the gate, but should have no bearing on the ticket holder to exchange that ticket before that point.

I can easily see them not following the law though and going along with a no-transfer policy 'because pandemic', but someone who fought it would win

They waiting for the 5 PM Friday news dump?

Knicks sent email a few hours back about tickets being available starting next week. More information about testing and other details to be sent Monday.

We want the DEETS!
From what I was able to gather they only have plans for games on the 26th, 28th and 2nd then they will send out more information. Full ticket holders will get the chance to pick one of those games and get only 2 tickets. Regardless of how many tickets you currently have. Then part time ticket holders will get their chance
