Isles are offering fan cutouts. They won't be on TV and no dogs allowed. That's something even the Wilpons managed better. Any chance the rangers will do something similar?
Haven't seen anything beyond this tweet but interesting nonetheless. Who would take on the cost of these tests? For the Bills pilot program, it's the fans who have to pay $60-$65 for their Covid test through the NFL's official lab in order to be able to go to the game. The cost is non-refundable whether they test negative or positive and is tacked on on top of the cost of the game ticket.
Agreed. Plus, if the entertainment and airline industry announce you will need to prove you have been vaccinated to use their services, we will see more people who claim they are not getting it cave and get it.on top of that - broadway has already said, no shows until they are full houses, they cant make money without it. so hopefully he has a plan for that. he should focus on getting people vaccinated and showing a vaccine ID to get in than to waste money on this.

Who knows, probably not. From what I read the rapid tests are only 60% accurate. That's basically just flipping a coin.Agreed. Does asymptomatic spread even show on the crappy rapid tests?
symptoms would have no impact, if you're spreading by definition you are sending out viruses and the test will detect that just the same as a symptomatic personAgreed. Does asymptomatic spread even show on the crappy rapid tests?
I’m genuinely shocked it happened this soon. Figured before end of season but was not expecting end of February.
B's fan here, but am an NYC resident. My guess, based on how other regulations have gone, is theres no real way to enforce the testing requirimemt and will probably be an honor system thing. Also, it’s not really feasible to get a PCR test turnaround in 72 hours. My place has been doing 1-2 days but what happens if it comes back day of and it’s positive? What happens if it doesn’t come back at all?
Can't they make you show proof of a negative test at the gate?B's fan here, but am an NYC resident. My guess, based on how other regulations have gone, is theres no real way to enforce the testing requirimemt and will probably be an honor system thing.
I had to travel earlier in this pandemic for a funeral, and while I abided by the state's travel regulations with testing and quarantining, there was never a point where I had to prove to anyone I'd been tested.
They could, but if airlines weren't doing that for full flights, why would a stadium? Can't they make you show proof of a negative test at the gate?
Isn't MSG's seating capacity 18,006 for Rangers games? Plus, Wikipedia lists Knicks games at 19,812. Meaning either way, should only less than 2000 fans can attend a game at MSG? Or what's the arena's official maximum capacity?2078 can attend a Rangers game!!!!
