The problem I have is this: We were told this team was rebuilding. We got a 7th overall pick and then found ourselves with a 9th overall pick. Then, we luck into a 2nd and a 1st overall pick. Now, we're supposed to lean on vets and play the kids 7 minutes a game because we're trying to make the playoffs? Play the kids and develop them into the future stars we were told we were getting.
Are people happy because we're winning, no matter who plays or who doesn't? Sure. Good for them.
Are people angry because the kids we are drafting so high seem to be held down because the coach trusts more experienced players in an effort to make a playoff run we weren't expected to be making for a few years? You bet.
I feel like any rational thinking person could see both sides here.
