Callahan was a late bloomer. What Berard is doing is eerily reminiscent of Gallagher though
And coincidentally, Gallagher is the player he models his game after.

Berard is the same height as Gallagher and Marchand, but 15 pounds lighter. Wouldn't be the worst thing if he cooks in Providence this year and next as he builds up.
Ryder Korzack looks like hes off to a good start to his season. Anyone watch any Moose Jaw games this season?
Is Brayden Point style accurate?Korczak to me is the steal of this draft. I really like the way he plays and he's been playing well. I saw his game on the weekend and even aside from his goal, he was making things happen. Very happy with his performance so far.

Berard can and he has a great one timer from the right circleCan any of Berard, Cuylle, Othmann play the right side? or have they?

Hopefully not as many injuries and just as talented whenever he makes the NHL. I'd also think Callahan or Yanni Gourde are great comparisons as well. And coincidentally, Gallagher is the player he models his game after.

Rempe was scoreless last night. After his 2 goal, 7 shot opener, he has 5 games with 0 points, and is -4 with 10 SOG.
Leevi Aaltonen had a goal the other day. He has 1+1 in 11 games mainly on the fourth line. He has also been a scratch a few times.
Ragnarsson plays on one of the top two pairs for Almtuna and has a line of 0-6-6 in 8 games. Good for him. Hopefully he carves out a nice career for himself in Europe.
Jaroslav Chmelař has a line of 3-3-6 in 13 games in the Finnish U20 series. Honestly, that's really disappointing so far. It's good for T-10th in scoring on the team, and on per-game basis he's even lower. NJ has a kid they just drafted in the third round and he has 15 points in 13 games. There are also a couple other guys on the team that will likely be drafted. This isn't to say Chmelař should be written off as he's still a young 18, but you'd really like to see him pick it up a bit. He gets good ice time and just hasn't produced yet. For the record--I have NOT seen him play as I have yet to find streams for Finnish U20 games so I'm strictly stat surfing with him.
Similarly, I haven't seen a Swedish U20 game for Tärnström, but he has 16 points in 12 games. Only 7 in his last 8. I say "only" as given his draft pedigree and the fact that he's 19, you'd really like to see him tearing it up like he did to start. He's now third on his team in scoring behind a couple undrafted guys. For comparison, Henriksson put up 41 in 27 when he was 18 playing in the same league.
Väisänen has 3 assists in 13 games for TPS. He looks okay. Kind of a non-factor IMO, but he doesn't look overmatched. He was just recently sent down and played in the Finnish U20 (where Chmelař is) and had 2 assists in his first game.
Lindbom is the backup to another young goaltender for Timrå.
Yeah. I'll add that for Vaisanen it was a really good sign for him that he was able to hang in Liiga at 18. Hopefully he produces in the U20 league.I guess none of this is too surprising, though maybe Tarnstrom is a bit disappointing.
I think we pretty much figured that Aaltonen was going to be a long shot who might make it as a bottom-6 speed guy, if anything, but it looks like the offense hasn't kept up there. He just hasn't been able to transition his offense into Liiga to any real degree.
I thought Ragnarsson had third pairing upside and possibility of a PK role when he was drafted. I liked his game and really wanted to see him make it (partially so I could get Ragnarsson on a jersey...great hockey name).

Vierling had 3 assists.
Cuylle is scoreless in the third.
A lot of Juniors prospects are off to nice starts to their seasons. Makes me strongly consider buying the CHL's streaming packageCuylle finished with 2 goals...game winner and empty netter
