Huska stopped 32/34 for the win. Wall stopped 25/26 for the win.

Keane was scoreless, +2. Gross was scoreless.

Kjellberg is scoreless. I have no idea what kind of defenseman he's supposed to be, so I don't know what I should be expecting.

EDIT: Kjellberg finished scoreless. In 4 games he has no points, is +3 and has just 3 shots. I am not going to pay to watch him, so I haven't seen him. Does anyone know what kind of player he's supposed to be? This was my thing on his draft--he was f***ing anonymous. And STILL nothing on him. I assume he's not really offensively-inclined based on 3 SOG through 4 games. Is he tough? A puck carrier? Like, what does this guy do? I really want to know.

I feel like we haven’t talked about Miller in a while, until this week.

So I can tell you that in the days and weeks leading up to the draft, he was pretty high on a lot of teams lists. I think he may have been around 10-15 on at least several. Needless to say, there was a lot of buzz around him.

The kid is an excellent skater with a frame that is going to get even stronger with time. You’re looking at a kid who could very well play at 6’4, 220 and bring a lot of mobility.

He’s got a good shot that he needs to use more often. He’s got a good feel for the transition game and makes smart passes to help set up the play.

He needs to work on his reads and not over-commuting too early. He’s also just starting to scratch the surface on learning when to pinch. Right now his skating covers for those mistakes, but it will need to be an area of focus.

The biggest thing with Miller right now is time. He needs experience and he needs to see a lot of action so he can learn by doing. He’s such a gifted athlete that it’s almost easy to forget that he’s only played defense for a short while.

But this is kid is one of the better prospects I’ve seen when it comes to learning and then applying what he’s learned. You can see him taking corrective actions when he makes a mistake and you visibly see the growth and gains he makes.

As he becomes more comfortable with playing defense, I think you’re going to see him incorporate more offense into his game. However, I could easily see him being a kid whose college numbers aren't necessarily indicative of what he might do as a pro. I think there’s such runway in front of him, that he could be a kid who really starts coming into his own by his second pro season.

I know there’s a thought about him coming out after two years, but this may be a kid who benefits from having 3 years in college and then a full year in the AHL — a possible NHL arrival around 2022.

Edge, 100% agree. This is the right program and right situation for him. He can already probably take a shift in the NHL on pure ability alone, but let him marinate for at least 3 if not all four years. When he gets his man strength...wow.

Him an Baron and to a lesser extent Riley Hughes, just let them marinate and play a bunch.

I love this kid I don’t know what SKA is doing but then again I don’t know why shesterkin is a back up there either. But look at the edgework the size the ability the kid is a horse. How do you put him in the press box??? Best thing to happen to him is this trade.

I wish traktor would trade Kravtsov to a real team

Just think of it as the AHL when the pack just happen to be bad...except there is likely better coaching then gernander was giving forever to our offensive prospects. He's getting tons of ice time in a prominent role on a team that has legit playoff aspirations so they're all trying. I think it's a better spot for him than SKA tbh. SKA runs their shit weird. Certainly not in a manner that optimizes prospect development

Pajuniemi didn't play for TPS today.

Reunanen was scoreless in 19 minutes.

Rykov was scoreless in 19 minutes.

Lundkvist was scoreless playing on the fourth defense pairing.

You know, for all the grief Gropp gets, and a degree of it is deserved, the kid has scored at a 19 goal pace over a full AHL season — which he has not yet played.

After a slow start last year, I think he’s scored at closer to a 23 or 24 goal pace since last December.
