Kravtsov - ?? - Kakko
Miller - Fox
Shesty

Let The ?? Be this guy and we are good to go.
Talk about a revamped future on Broadway
Didn't realize he was 215 6'4" damn. I'm all for getting one of the top centers in the 2020 draft but not at the expense of all our current prospects like Lias/Chytil sucking and regressing. I'm assuming Byfield is going top 3/4??? If so lots of guys like Howden, Lias, Chytil, ADA, Fox are not gonna play well this year.

Not necessarily. We can barely miss the POs with good development, exciting play and amassing a nice haul at the TDL; then luck out in the lottery picking top 3 again. Dream scenario

Panarin - Zib - Chytil/Buch
Skjei - Trouba

Lias - Howden - Buch/Chytil
Jones/Robertson/Lindgren/Rykov/Hajek/Reuanen - ADA/Lundkvist

Lemmy - Barron - xx?

Wow

Why is Miller so criminally underrated? Plays for an established college program is American, has a monster toolkit. What am I missing? Is it the anti-NA bias? :p

My theory is because he had a quiet WJ18 and while being a very good all around player there isn't really anything that pops off the page with him (aside from maybe his size). You really have to watch him close to appreciate what he brings and a lot of people on this board don't have that kind of patience or observational skills

I think he's a little underrated by the community and a little overrated by us

Whenever Miller is playing in a televised tournament, the announcers, at least once per game, go on a prolonged praise session where they just gush about him. I think by mid-season this year, he'll be more appropriately ranked.
If he has a few highlight plays in the WJC this year, he'll skyrocket up lists

Should be a good litmus test outside the NCAA. He'll be one of the older players there, it would be disappointing if he didn't have a big showing.

In watching yesterday's game against Finland what stuck out to me was that Miller didn't try to play as a 4th forward.

He was really playing more of a stay at home game, minus a few moments and PP.

Either he's being asked by USA coaches to play a shutdown role or he's trying to learn how to pick his spots. Could be both. But for someone who played more of a shutdown role, I'd like to see him use a little less poke check and a get a little more physical. He's much stronger than most of his opponents and i think he could toss most of them down without getting too tangled up. If anything the poke checking often gets him tangled because once he commits to poke checking right, if the puck goes left -- he's taking himself out of the play. Whereas, he could literally just lean on the kid instead.

Outside of two rushes and PPs, I think it wasn’t one of Miller’s best games that I’ve seen. Looked like he chased plays and was behind how they developed more than he probably wanted.

He missed time at the end of the season. I think that limited the stats and viewings are where he's not getting the recognition.

Doesn't really matter imo. It's not changing what he can do for the Rangers down the line.

He beefed up a bit, but is still skinny- which means by the time next off-season ends, the guy is going to be an athletic monster.

Great Play by Miller on the USA pp to break up a potential Canadien breakaway going the other way

Miller Bad cross ice pass on the pp leads to a 3 on 1 the other way for a canada pk goal.
