Did I or did I not ask you a direct question that you have gone to great lengths to try to avoid answering? What does that have to do with a poll?

BTW, harmless little pest seems like an attempt at a personal attack.

Gave you the answer. As usual, unless somebody agrees 100% you follow the poster around until eventually going into attack mode. So sry for the little pest comment. You’re a wonderful person who launches into tirades lol.

harvard vs RPI game in the ecac tourney has been cancelled ending harvard's season...according to this tweet it won't end RPI's (kjellberg) season but they remain a long shot for an at large bid

One could argue that one of our better windows should have been this season.
This year the team is out performing expectations. This was not the year that the window opens. There have been some eye opening things that occurred, but that is a difference.

Gave you the answer.
Your answer was "I don't have to answer". That is not answering a question; that is an extreme avoidance of answering a question.

I think I understand. You view is when someone questions you and then you refuse to back up your statements, that is now a personal attack. How very modern of you .

you really don’t bring any value to any conversation. Back on ignore

good luck

Problem solved

so, if the season ends (and perhaps this has already been discussed), both Carolina and Toronto are in and neither of those picks are in the lottery. Guessing that is how this ends

any thoughts?

I'm ok with having Pajuniemi come over next season. He will be 21 when the AHL starts, not super young. He could get some nice top 6 minutes on the Pack. Previous years when the team was a dumpster fire I wouldn't want him here yet but I can go either way now.

They may go the way they did w Tarmo.
Get NHL ELC signed, have him over for Traverse City, and training camp, and maybe Pack camp.
Then, unless he totally excels, loan him back to Liiga (or similar)

The article seems to be mostly specific to one game he played against junior players and he's played in Liiga at least 2 full years now and has become a big star for TPS. I'm not against signing and seeing and then deciding on whether to put him in Hartford or send him back to TPS. He might have an issue with the AHL. He is still a fairly young player and not the biggest guy and the AHL is a really hard checking league. There are those it chews up and spits out. He's had a great year and he might be ready to take on that challenge but having a fallback option is not IMO a bad idea.

Amen. With these guys, it’s absolutely essential that you consider (i) what they need to be successful at — any level — and (ii) what role you can afford that player in the team in question, in this case Hartford.

Michael Lindqvist is one great example. He is just like Vinny Lettieri and Lauri Pajuniemi an expert shooter form the left side on the PP. When Lindqvist came to HFD, VL was established and did really well in that role. Any player need to adjust to new league and teammates and what not, to do that it is usually a tremendous help if you have a platform to stand on. A role you can play and produce in, while you grow in to the rest of the aspects of the game.

If we bring in Pajuniemi to HFD and he at most get 20 sec on the tail end of PPs behind Vinny and nobody that passes him the puck ever while he plays with two really really one dimensional checkers (Belesky, Nieves and the likes) 5 on 5 — we should just not even bother. That is no environment to develop in for a young kid. Just like Lindqvist he would get really limited production, confidence is pressured, most aspects of his game is hurt while he only marginally improves his ability to play like say a Jed Ortmayer.

How they treat Pajuniemi is a great test for how far this organization has come and whether HFD will continue to be a disaster ruining kids or actually be able to do some good.
