Physically, Miller is just superior. That's where the gap is, comparing 'ceilings'. He could be playing at 6'4 220 with turbo boosters.I disagree
It's a little strange to me that Shestyorkin got so much support at #3, but Georgiev, who is slightly younger, has already established himself in the NHL, was picked for Russia's WC team over Shestyorkin, and will probably play ahead of Igor on the Rangers this season, didn't get any support at all. I get the support for Igor, but on paper it seems to me like there should have been at least be some debate between the two of them.
I'll add Reunanen. He's a strong skater with very good vision / offensive skills and NHL size, his Liiga point total last season has only been bested by Esa Lindell, Sami Vatenen, Ville Polka, and Sami Niku among U21 defensemen in the last 10 years, and he improved dramatically over the course of the last season, culminating with him putting up almost a point per game in the Liiga playoffs.

I'm not knocking Lundkvist. I think he will be a great player. And Lundkvist is playing a very reliable 2-way game as an 18-year old in the 3rd best league in the world, for a top team, playing 18-19 minutes and about to be moved up to the top pairing. Top-10 in scoring among 18-year old D-men since 2000, used in all situations, even defending a lead in the final minutes. That's huge for a kid his age.

If both players develop fully and hit their full potential/ceiling, Miller would be the more valuable player IMO. That doesn't mean Miller will hit that ceiling or will be the better player.

I mean, that’s not really far from what Miller projects to be, he’s a left handed defenseman, but he’s a lot stronger and bigger than NilsAgain. I disagree. I think a top-pair 2-way RHD who is really good in his own zone is probably the most valuable asset you can have on defense.
I see Nils as a potential 2-3. I see Miller as potentially a #1, annual Norris candidate.Again. I disagree. I think a top-pair 2-way RHD who is really good in his own zone is probably the most valuable asset you can have on defense.

I put georgiev at 4 and really it should be a 3b because at the same age is Shesterkin really better than georgiev? I’m not so sure. I think georgiev is a stud. Love his game.
I’d have Miller Fox Rykov Lundkvist Robertson right after them
FWIW, THN has given Brian Dumoulin as a Lundkvist best case comp. Your thoughts on that @Amazing Kreiderman

THN also has Miller slipping to 28th in a re-draft. That alone drops a nuke on their credibility.
