Splitting up Strome and Panarin seems insane to me. Fantastic chemistry there for multiple years.

I’m rolling this:

Panarin - Strome - Kakko
Kreider - Zibanejad - Goodrow
Lafreniere - Chytil - Blais
Barron - Rooney - Reaves
Gauthier

I'm mostly kidding. I've actually had a policy that I'll give my kid a regular name so he's not bullied. I was always felt unique names were hubris on the side of the parents.

At the end of the day, people should just do what they want. The reality is that you could name a kid Joe Smith and middle school would still find a way to torture him for it. That is what middle school is all about. My brother and his wife went with the "same first initial" thing. They both have names that start with K, and all three of my nieces do as well. They put up Christmas stockings and it looks like a pitcher is having a solid outing, haha.

The odds are likely that we won't be able to afford Strome after this year, so the sooner we can convince Bread to "C" other people, the better we'll be long term.

Reminded me of full house from when I was a kid. Stephanie wanted to change her name to Dawn because people were making fun of her calling her "step on me" and she was like "how can anyone make fun of such a beautiful name like Dawn?" and Danny gives a few examples like "Dawnold Duck".

I legit had a great uncle named Donald Dick. He was born/named ~10 years before the cartoon character was created, and pretty much loathed Disney until his dying day.

Must have been really weird before kids #2 and 3.

It’s been 5 games but this team has low key been good defensively 5v5. They’ve done a good job limiting the really good scoring chances and Shesterkin has made the big saves when necessary.

Their transition game sucks, the PP has been ass and I don’t like how they’ve played overall for the most part, but this is one area where they’ve at least been pretty solid, if not really good.

For those of you that aren't satisfied with the win. Hopefully this gem from the Devil's - Caps GDT will make you feel better:

"Vesey has been our best player."

Devils fans watching Graves perform at a perfectly average 2nd pairing defenseman level

Personally, I'd just go with Ichabod.

I don’t know if you saw the post, but that’s the family tree. The Crane/Craine (Gaelic) family settled in Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow when they first emigrated. Ichabod was a genuine teacher in the Sleepy Hollow census. Legends are… open to interpretation, but it’s still a cool bit of family history! We’ve kind of settled on Henrik. It’s her fathers name, a nice nod to a NYR legend and we both like the sound of Henry Craine. Maybe I can convince her to do Henry Ichabod Craine.

This is the worst Panarin has looked in his career. He still has good plays sprinkled in but it's been weird to see.

He had a stretch during his last season in Columbus where he looked worse.

I’d be more worried if there was a clear sign of decline, but he’s just been dumb with the puck on his stick. He has the occasional wtf moment even when he’s going well, but those moments have been the norm so far.

he’ll get sorted out.

I didn't see that post - that's really cool!

Three straight on the road with two top six players out of the lineup. Life is good.

Gallant has really pulled the team together. There are things that need to be cleaned up but I love the way they are supporting each other on the ice. The potential nightmare of having nine of the first twelve on the road is now reduced to five of the next seven. 3-1-1 is a real nice start.

Oh and that goaltender is truly something special.

Just love where this thing headed.
