Too bad it wasn't Bort Howden.

I recognize Panarin led the team in xGF% but he doesn’t look ANYTHING like the player we’ve watched the last two years. It is likely at least in part a team issue...but if this is the new normal for him it is a bit terrifying.
He looked better in the third actually. Forced it a lot less.

so early but love the moxie this team has about them, there's been ugly but as a team they look like they might have something special

and igor ... spectacular so far

Oh man, what I would do to have your last name and have a son though. I would definitely name him Frasier or Niles. I love the Rangers but that would be something I can't pass up.

So my family is originally from Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow and Ichabod Crane is in the family tree (Ichabod Crane was a real school teacher on the census in Sleepy Hollow NY… the headless horseman, leave that up to you). Craine is the more Gaelic spelling my grandma used. Grew up with all kinds of fun stories and folk songs. I liked the show a bit but I’d be much more likely to go with a more traditional name because of the rich family history. Though Fraser was a strong Scottish name.

Reaves plays a sneaky solid game. Not afraid to have him on the ice in a tie game in third. He makes the simple play and is a bull.
He can freaking dangle a little too

I love that area. We go up there every fall and have dinner at Horsefeathers. Not far from where the Rangers practice facility is

Wife and I are currently living on the west coast, but we just had a pretty serious conversation about coming back to NY after she gives birth. My family is in NY, hers is still 100% in Poland. It’s much easier for her family to visit NY than Idaho, cost wise and length of flight. She’s also devoid of a support network out here, which will be extremely helpful once the baby is here. In NY we have dozens of friends, my whole family (very excited - at 35 I’m the first of four providing a grand child). It would also be a lot of fun to be able to bring the kid around some of the ancestral locations, as well as the Garden.

This board will have a complete 3 year old-esque conniption melt down if Georgiev is between the pipes on Saturday afternoon

GG. I know it’s Ottawa. Don’t do it.

DO IT. Seems logical. Either way good luck to you and yours

He does make little plays sometimes that make me go, "Hey, that was smart"

This game was like my college career. Super frustrating at times but completely awesome in the end.

Laf is still such a kid, haha. Reporters talk to Blais. Laf: *Hmm. I should shake my water. Or inspect the bottle. Is that something on the table? I'ma poke it with my finger and see what it is. Oh wait, they want to talk to me again*

Personality wise, he is the NA Ovechkin. It’s endearing. Hopefully he can keep putting points on the board. He looks like Blais older brother. It’s insane that he’s barely 20. He looks my age.

Don't do such things to a kid (says the person with the last name "O'Neil" who was in middle school when the Ninja Turtles were big AND Shaq broke into the NBA. Between "Shaq" and "April," I'm not sure my actual first name was ever used in middle school, haha).

7 of 10 points so far and they haven’t even really begun to score yet.

Here’s the lines I’d like to see when back to full health:

Panarin - Zib - Kakko
Laff - Chytil - Blais
Goodrow - Strome - Kreider
Hunt - Rooney - Reaves

Also Zac Jones up and give Nils Lund a solid 20 games in AHL top mins.

Ride Igor until he loses or back to back nights

I'm mostly kidding. I've actually had a policy that I'll give my kid a regular name so he's not bullied. I was always felt unique names were hubris on the side of the parents.
