Interesting adjustment by AV at the end of the period. Stepan and Boyle out there for faceoffs just in case one gets thrown out of the circle.
 
Each Ranger player must make it a personal objective to score a goal. If they all do that, one of them is bound to
 
C'mon boys. Just got to win or tie the next 20 minutes with one of the best goalies in the world on his game. 1 more goal might be all it takes. Lets beat these ********** for once.
 
Wasn't particularly happy with that period either.

But I do think it's telling that they're out shooting us, but we are out chancing them.

Agreed. He's played lights out in the majority of the games. If the Rangers win this series, Lundqvist will be the best performer in it and be a huge reason we are heading to the Conference Finals.

And that would be no disrespect to St. Louis who has shown tremendous amounts of heart, but Lundqvist has been our best player, far and away.

We have the potential to beat a team that is clearly better than us. Make it happen. One more period. Need to be better. They're still outplaying us.

Pittsburgh is outplaying the Rangers tonight, yes, but I don't think they're necessarily better. IMO, had Games 3 and 4 been spaced out like they should have been, the Rangers win this in 6.

Now we have 20 minutes to see if Lundqvist can continue this amazing stretch!
 
Stralman has really came back down to earth.
John Moore is trying his best to look like delzotto, he has lost every battle along the boards

Lundqvist really wants to eliminate cry baby Crosby
Krieder has changed that whole first line ... Unbelievable
 
Come on boys, play aggressive but play smart. 3 men back, no odd man rushes. They also can't afford to go punch for punch and open up the neutral zone.
 
Nash hasn't been scoring and that sucks obviously, but he's been great with everything else. Hitting, getting the puck out of the zone, powering his way to dump the puck. Underwhelming for a $7.8M player? You bet. But in a game 7 I'll take all those little things happily over liability on the ice like a cold Ovie would be, who gets paid a lot more. If we get through this game alive he can still redeem himself offensively. There's a lot more playoff hockey to be played if the Rangers plan on going deep.
 
The ****birds really put everything into the first half of this game. You can see the ice is starting to open up as their legs start to get heavier. Regardless of the outcome this game has gone as good as we could have ever hoped.

What are you talking about? He's been great this series.
