The ****birds really put everything into the first half of this game. You can see the ice is starting to open up as their legs start to get heavier. Regardless of the outcome this game has gone as good as we could have ever hoped.

I agree. That's going to happen with Bylsma constantly double shifting Crosby, Malkin, Neal, and Kunitz.

Boyle was on the ice for every D zone faceoff for the last 5 minutes.

I dont trust stepan on faceoffs so that was a good call by AV

In a series they were picked by everyone to win and a series they were up 3-0, and in Game 7, they are losing 2-1 with one period left. I can't say I'd be too enthused if I were them.

Interesting adjustment by AV at the end of the period. Stepan and Boyle out there for faceoffs just in case one gets thrown out of the circle.

He's done that for every defensive zone faceoff this game. When the Rangers ice the puck, a non center takes the faceoff at first and jumps the draw. Zuccarello actually won one.

AV coaches inch by inch. Scorers are getting all offensive end faceoffs.

Pens got caught up ice a lot that period. The 3rd period should yield odd man rushes.

Lundqvist has been outstanding. Fleury has been saved by two crossbars.

20 minutes to the CF. Tampa fans crossing their fingers too.

Meh. It's worth it. Maybe not on deadline day but screw the pick. I want more hockey.

Nash hasn't been scoring and that sucks obviously, but he's been great with everything else. Hitting, getting the puck out of the zone, powering his way to dump the puck. Underwhelming for a $7.8M player? You bet. But in a game 7 I'll take all those little things happily over liability on the ice like a cold Ovie would be, who gets paid a lot more. If we get through this game alive he can still redeem himself offensively. There's a lot more playoff hockey to be played if the Rangers plan on going deep.

If Nash scores now, it's a bonus. I'll take his third-line like grinding play if it keeps getting the Rangers wins.

With Nash I think it's mostly mental at this point. If he can score just one goal I think everything changes for him.
