Did Vatrano and /or Chytil play C last night? ESPN listed both in the box score as C....

I would so love to see Shesty in net tomorrow. Will he never play back to back games? The King did it all the time.
I don't think there is any reason to do it when we are already (presumably) in a playoff spot. You gotta remember, Shesterkin had two non-contact injuries in the last two years.

There's no reason not to let him rest a night and give his groin get a little less mileage.

And let's not forget, when the King went on his best career playoff run, it was after sitting out a few months due to injury when Cam Talbot stepped up in his place in the regular season for a few months. Lundqvist was super fresh by the time playoff season came around and was able to carry the team.

There's no reason to let Shesty play back to back nights if we are taking a long view here.

I gotta say this. If you are watching K Andre Miller every night and BITCHING about him? You should take up another sport because you are CLUELESS. He’s 22 years old and a tremendous hockey player that is only getting better by leaps and bounds every day. Top 4 out of the womb basically and guys complain when he makes a mistake? You are LOST

He will be partnered with Fox before long, another future star on D

Lindgren played his two best games too. He looked like his old self for the first time in a while. Bleeding physical involved. Much better

Rangers have 2 2nds and their first. They can make this larger deal happen. No one is more equipped to make a big splash

Did anyone see the reason Reavo got a mark during the fight? It wasnt from Maroons fists it was from his visors when they bear hugged at the end. I thought you’re supposed to get a extra two for wearing it?
That rule was dropped when they mandated visors for incoming players awhile back.

Multiple likes on this post. Too many posters on this board do not understand the game of hockey. They expect perfection and jump on guys immediately when they make mistakes, particularly very young defensemen. Schneider will be the next 20 something yo defenseman to feel the wrath of the clueless when he makes mistakes.

he's a stud.

Hunt's best play was not falling all over their goalie on Trouba's goal. That could have easily been GI, but he was al around him without pushing him.
He tipped the shot too which led to the perfect rebound for Trouba. Really a solid play for him on that

Was at the game... we sat right behind Ferraro between the benches (apparently we made the broadcast a few times lol).

My fiancee nabbed the 1st puck that left the surface (gave us our 1st PP)

I voted Reavo because he is all about the team... he gets everyone going and was chirping Maroon all night... was epic to be right there to see all the stuff that goes on. I said "they're def gonna go soon" and like :10 secs later they threw down.

Bread, Zbad & Foxy are so damn good in person... even tho the Bolts took away all sorts of time they still found ways to make some plays.

Lots of NYR Fans there (felt like 50/50) and they were loud as hell with some "Igor" chants and LGR

Usually that doesn't fly in Tampa but it did all last night.

I met @jerseyjinx94 & his crew just by chance prior to the game (all named Ed, Eddie, Edward I guess ... hence their Rangers Ed. podcast) Good bunch of guys.

Great win!

The moving camera works if everyone is watching the game at 4k or 8k with 120fps.

It does not work at 1080p 30fps
It doesn't work period. A fixed camera location simulates what it is like to watch a game from a stationary seat. It pivots left and right to capture as much of the ice as possible. Some closer cameras in other locations give another view for replays or the occasional dynamic shot to show how fast players are moving up close and should be used sparingly (or really not at all unless for a replay).

A floating camera, on the other hand, just creates a ton of frustration since it is moving as the puck is moving and the players are moving. So you lose any accurate element of speed (moving with the puck makes it look slower, moving to its side or away from the puck makes it hard to see passing lanes since they're in motion too). Furthermore, by not being centered relative to the whole rink, it's usually late in catching up to plays and seeing the entire defensive zone + part of the neutral zone. So you have no idea where players are relative to the play.

Not only that, it's not even ice level to give you a sense of what the players are experiencing (which, I concede, is obviously not a fixed perspective). It's hovering over the glass, moving up and down the boards. It really has no place in any broadcast other than the very occasional replay where other angles fail.

It would only work in a video game where the viewer can actually control the camera.
