Chytil has to realize he isn't Zegras, what he does have is a quick shot, use it

I love the kid, but he plays his best hockey when he has no time to over-think. He's better on the rush. The shootout gives him way too much time in his own head, which is why he sucks at it. The fact that GG sent him out there shows that he's starting to trust Chytil, which is great. BUT, the fact that he shows that trust by sending out Chytil to do something that doesn't fit his skill set demonstrates just how limited GG is as a coach. KK and Chytil are built more for the OT period, ESPECIALLY an OT power play. Do they get any time? Of course not.

Great game. Very entertaining. Thought we played good, but at some point we need to start winning these games we “should” be winning.

Puck luck doesn’t go on for 30-40 games for a whole entire team. I’m sorry but at some point we suck at finishing.

And PP1 you gotta start scoring soon. The zone time is great. Best I’ve ever seen in my rangers 30 year career. It doesn’t mean shit if you’re 20th in the league.

I mean Adam Fox was not a bad choice. Chytil 0 for 6. What was that move? He had his head down looking at the puck the whole time. Easy mode for the goalie there.

This team cannot finish. It’s a problem. It’s not just tonight because it was Vasilevskiy. They just cannot finish. Posts, missing the net, shooting into the goalie on their glorious chances. Breakaways where the players seem like they’re not even trying to score.

It’s half a season now of the only consistent thing about their team being that they continually do not score on multiple should be goals every game.
