Better than them now with the youngest team in hockey lol. They’re seething. DIRTY HIT! PaGEAUT! THE LEAGUE PROTECTS THE RAGS! If 17 HIT PANARIN LIKE THAT HE WOULD’VE BEEN LEAVIN IN CUFFS! Someone give these guys and Goring a warm bottle, a bib, and call the Trouba train back to the tracks!

If you consider how long it took for this team (largely made up of kids and strangers) to find chemistry, one has to wonder if we would of been clicking much earlier had our early schedule not been like 3 games in the first month.

Forslund is the best around...not even close. I've been shouting from the hilltops about this for years about him.

When Doc hangs it up, not a doubt Forslund takes over at the #1 guy at NBC.

As far as Tracy, maybe I'm getting soft in my old age but seeing that I get a kick out of how homerish the Boston team of Edwards and Brickley are and cause I love Rick Jeanerette of the Sabres for all these years, homer PBP guys and analysists don't bug me like it used too.

The only guy who annoys me is Butch Goring because at least these other homerish announcers are entertaining and at times funny. Goring on the other hand is a bore and emotionless kind of like the way he used to play back in the day.

But yeah give me John Forslund doing a game every day and I'm a happy camper!

Our excuse at least is the kids have finally started to figure it out. Youngest team in the league. We’re way ahead of schedule. They’re buying JG Crosby because they think they’re in the same class as TB, BOS, COL, WSH and PIT.

Yeah it's a good thing that they didnt give up 21 HD chances in any of those 10 other wins.

I don't complain about our D every game. Look it up, I've been pretty vocal about how our D has improved along with every other aspect of the game over the last 2.5 months.

Staal draws a ton of my ire, but thats because he's f***ing horrible. Staal isn't the whole D.

The pressure on him must be so high. I think Georgie plays against Montreal and Hank gets the Flyers.
 
Comparing the tag of an offensive D man given to Skjei and the ones given the Fox and Tony is pretty stark

Would be very hard pressed to play Hank against Philly

Dude hasn't played in a month and he's gonna drop into a division game against a divisional seed in the middle of a playoff race?

Not sure I agree with this. The only set back this team had going into this season, was their age. That they are very young. So maybe in that respect we are outperforming.

But you knew this team had some great skill and could be competitive if only they could come together and learn to play team defense. It was only a matter time. Like learning in a classroom or practicing on your piano. Well they had their schooling and now you are seeing the results.
