Gutsy win tonight for a team that was undermanned and seemed to be a half step slow. I love Panarin when he's got the puck in the offensive zone and making plays, but damn he was bad in our zone tonight. In one shift in the first period, he had 3 awful turnovers in less than 30 seconds. Just make a simple, safe play when you're backed in and at the end of a shift. Georgie kept the team in it and should be the first star. I thought Smith played with confidence and was better than I expected him to be. McKegg and Howden getting goals was huge and I thought the 4th line was pretty solid all night. Glad they held on to Kreider. I dreaded the thought of him going to an eastern conference team and lighting us up on a regular basis.
