I thought Fox had a strong game against Brazal tonight.
I understand but it sucks. I love Hank but he must know his day’s as the main piece are long gone. I understand loves ny but maybe trying for a cup is not a bad idea. It just sucks we are gonna lose Georgiev and Kreider because of other bad contracts

Quick observations....I'm so stoked...I need to calm down as any win vs my most hated team gets me so pumped.
Georgie is the Islanders kryptonite. He was once again the key to the win as he saved our bacon in the 1st period where we were dominated. Game could have easily been 3-0 or something like that. Instead, Georgie kept it 1-0. I tell ya fellas...it's going to be really tough to trade him. Gorton needs to figure out a way to keep him.
The KIDS were outstanding tonight...all of them even Kakko. Chytil was dominant all night. Fox was good as usual. Howden was good and had a few good scoring chances. And Kakko made himself known tonight. He was good. I'm telling ya fellas give him an offseason with a strict training regimen where he improves his skating, strength and stamina and he'll be something special.
For this young young team of ours to come back like we did after a horrible 1st period which the Philes dominated and we all kind of knew after what happened last game when we curb stomped them, that they would come out flying, and pretty much take it to them the final two periods says alot about how good this team will eventually be.
Tho it's still pretty unlikely we are going to make the playoffs this year, its still possible tho, for this team of ours to hang around the periphery of the playoff bubble would be just fine with me as it will give our kids the kind of experience they will need going forward as there is nothing like important March games to experience for their development.
If we do that I'm good with it. This season has been a wild success so far, at least to me it is and our future is massive. So happy right now that I'm going to pour my 4th cocktail to celebrate what was the biggest win of the year!.
Oh one more thing...Gorts needs to figure out a way to keep Kreider and Georgie...I'm sorry but I don't want to give them up...they are huge pieces of this team and can be going forward as well.

I thought Quickie was excellent this game. In a very difficult battle of attrition, he was our best forechecker and he had his legs tonight. He won more than his share of board battles. Good on the PK, very noticeable. Fil was our best forward in the open ice and Jesper along the boards plus George for the three stars.

Yeah, I've really been liking Georgiev. Kreider too, but he's going for a different reason. At least they are both maximizing their stock with recent play.
He did.
He and Lindgren are the only 2 D who didn't piss me off at some point tonight.

This Islanders team reminds of some of the Tortorella ones we had... super sound structurally but seriously lacking in talent. They'll end up with a good amount of wins but can't see them getting anywhere in the playoffs

Oh Kreider was hot ass for about half of the season.
He's been straight fire for the other half though. Much more impactful than Buch.
