Happy they made the playoffs. Team defense looks a bit shaky so Hank will really have to come up big in order for us to win a round.

Rick Nash looks like a player that hasn't played many important games at the NHL level. He looked nervous tonight, like he was clutching his stick a bit too tightly, and his play down the stretch has been subpar. I don't have much confidence in him as a playoff performer.
 
Over on MSG + their trivia question was who was the last team to win the President's trophy and the Stanley Cup in the same season? The answer was 93-94 Rangers, and Chico says "Not even gonna say it". Suck it Chico! We're in the playoffs baby!

Was a great game, thrilling victory in OT.
 
I can't even be mad at the pessimists. I'm glad that many of us (myself included) are stoked about making the post season, but lets not kid ourselves.

We were one disgustingly lucky goal from a total board meltdown.

Hopefully they show some stones on Saturday and head into the post season with some steam.
 
Ya we played like ****.

And yes its possible we will be out in the first round, but this weekend I am just happy for getting there. This season has been a rollercoaster and has been very frustrating. I need to just enjoy this win before playoff stress.
 
We did actually dominate the 3rd. Nash needed to score on his mini break away, the ref needed to call the PS on the one before that.

Came out strong, let up on the gas, and it nearly cost us a win. The first real luck we've gotten all season keeps us alive, and the Captain makes sure we go to the post season.

Not a great game, but evidently, good enough.

I think it's more he's been ridden hard down the stretch than anything. Give a few key guys a little less ice time against the Devils and let them rest up a bit before the playoffs start.
 
Gilroy single handedly almost blew this game for us. Ugly win, we need to get better if we plan on getting anything accomplished in the playoffs...i would have loved to see the reaction of every fan at the Winnipeg game after they flashed the rangers score on the jumbotron.

Whats happened to Clowe? I left for 5 minutes and saw him being helped off the ice.

Chico is a hate filled individual. Steve is not bad, imo.
