Funny thing is Matinpalo with his penalty on Gunetzle early (bad call but whatever) that is what woke team USA up, Miller came out a few shifts later and late hit Matinpalo right at his own blue line (should of been a penalty but whatever) and Matinpalo responded to the Brady melee and was the team Finland catalyst for physicality.

Problem is this ain’t Travis Greens team he’s on and Team Finland had absolutely no response to a physically fired up USA team. The Ottawa Senators would of had a response and woild of gone into the trenches where Matinpalo would of had 19 guys backing him up - Team Finland isn’t built like that

Matinpalo is playing physical Travis Green hockey - he just doesn’t have the dudes to back him up right now.
