I have a feeling he knows Q will get re-instate and that there's probably a great chance they've already connected the dots he'd come to NY behind closed doors.

Yeah and doing nothing would say too much. He's biding time. I feel like Drury runs a tight ship but he lets certain things leak out to the media very off-the-record. Guys probably his own mole tbh lol.

I know a lot of people will revolt, but I'm generally a person who believes in second chances. Also, it sounds like there's more than enough reasonable doubt to say Q wasn't completely in-the-know and part of a cover up. His role feels more like "bad decision at the wrong time" rather than "part of some huge cover up". Also, I've never seen really concrete evidence he wrote something meant specifically to be used as a job reference post-incident for the scumbag who committed the assault.

If they sign Q I am not trying to be mean, but I'd be as offended by the Game 4 performance I watched live on a god damn Monday as I would be that....

It's speculation. It could be Laviolette, no doubt, but there is so much uncertainty it makes it very difficult to be sold on one person. I'm hoping it's a dark horse candidate that gets the position. Somebody new and fresh.... but I think Drury is going to go the safe route and hire somebody who is recycled.

I could get behind Hynes more than Lavi personally, but agreed I'd rather a fresh take. At the least I'd like Knobby to be moved up to an Assistant. I'm about 50/50 on whether Drury plays it safe or not. I think we will all be surprised.
