You'll be lucky if you see any of the ice from the bleachers, so the bigger problem is the scoreboard is at your back and you have to constantly turn around to actually see what's going on

plus there's that whole comfort thing of sitting on literal bleachers while watching an outdoor hockey game in late January.

well the original plan was to go to one of the games and sell the other but since im in the bleachers do we think im gonna get screwed on re-sale?

I don't think so. They are $80-$110 cheaper than GS where the puck would look like a decimal and the players like tooth picks. In the bleachers, you can at least see the players. NYS GS is sky high..Main is on top of field then the suites level then Terrace then the GS. Many of Those $229 GS seats are ridiculously priced. NYS GS is much higher than GS in citizens park in Philly for those who went to the WC.

I don't think you'll get screwed, if you sell through stubhub you should be able to more or less get your money back. If you sell offline to someone then you'll probably cover your cost with maybe a little extra

I go to a lot of Yankee games and I can tell you that the view from the Grandstand is pretty good. You'll get a nice view of the action as long as you're not too far out in the wings

And I've been to many games in the bleachers and that has a nice view too. If I'm not mistaken, bleacher seats are in higher demand than GS (for baseball). We are talking about hockey view here not baseball so who knows.

Right, but the bleachers are too low and far from field, that the angle will be terrible, especially seeing over the boards. As I tell rookie football officials and baseball/softball umpires, NEVER sacrifice angle for proximity. Same applies here.

Good..I have 420A row 3 so I should have a decent view..still would gladly pay $120 more for delta suite

I think so. A lot of people have this belief that watching the game from the top of the stadium is the same as watching it from a blimp. Just not the case.

Apologies in advance if this has already been talked about. I am assuming that since most of the tickets for Rangers STH's were on the 1st base side, that will be the goal the Rangers shoot at twice. Has that been confirmed?

No that was thoroughly debunked. Rangers STHs were able to buy seats in sections all over the stadium on all four sides of the rink and on all levels

None of the $349 were ever offered to Rangers STHs though

I'm guessing, but since the Rangers play 2 games and Ranger STH have the same seats for both games, it would make sense to have the Rangers play one game one way/one game the other... I know it goes against conventional home bench/road bench, so maybe the NHL won't allow it. But it would be the most logical for the fans...

The Rangers can't play a home game in NYC if it's not at MSG. It has to do with the tax breaks MSG gets from the city.

Here's a comparison of the view from the bleachers and Grandstand at Yankee Stadium - keep in mind the game will be played on the middle infield.
