So today is the last day for Rangers STHs to buy Stadium Series tickets, I believe the Islanders and Devils STHs are already wrapped up.

Anyone still browsing?

We will probably find out next week who is going to get the next round of access to buy, I'm a million percent sure some tickets will be made available to Yankee season ticket holders, all remains to be seen who and how many. My guesstimate is 10,000 seats per game to be divided in whatever way the Yankees decide

GG why do you think they'll get so many seats? there's no way the yankees get 10,000 seats for these games. no shot.

It's all in the numbers, Yankee Stadium holds over 50,000 seats and they are selling EVERY SEAT. The Rangers, at most, sell 14,000 seats as full season tickets. The Devils & Islanders each will have no more than 10,000 full season ticket seats. That's 24,000 sold to NHL STHs (assuming everyone buys their full quota which is not likely), where the heck are they going to find buyers for the other 26,000 seats PER GAME?

NHL & Sponsors can't be more than a couple thousand. Youth Hockey kids are getting the orange sections, a couple thousand there. That's over 20,000 left to distribute PER GAME. Yankees Season Ticket Holders will get their shot, then they're going to sell to partial NYR/NJD/NYI ticket holders, fan club members, and eventually the public

Think full STH get a shot to buy more?

i still dont see it happening. NHL allotted way more tickets for the teams then 26,000 per game

i think they get access to 2,000-3,000 seats if they even get access to anything.

remember, phillies STH barely got anything in 2012. just because its a bigger stadium doesn't mean the NHL gives the teams the same amount as they did for WC 2012. they'll just give them more tickets.

Yeah, been checking every day...but it's been mostly crap recently. Should have snagged the better seats a week ago. I was finally offered a set this afternoon in 329, Row 1 on the aisle, which I purchased. Still eligible for another pair, but again, not much of anything decent is being offered. Half the time when I select "give them up and search again" they end up showing me the same seats!

Islanders STH get 2 tickets per 1 STH for upper level and 3 tickets for every 1 lower seats. So an Islanders STH with 4 lower seat can buy up to 12 seats for the game.

Are you ****ing kidding me?

What a ****ing joke.

A little off-topic, but I'm watching the 115,000 strong crowd watching Michigan and Notre Dame and wondering if anybody knows what current ticket sales are for the WC this year? Will there be a crowd anywhere near that? Sure you might not see the puck let alone the players from the bleachers but just being there would be an experience in itself.

Would love to see those overhead shots with red and blue.

No, but the crowd could be nearly half that as the capacity of Yankee stadium is about 50,000.

You're talking about the Red Wings–Maple Leafs Winter Classic? It will easily sell out and they will probably do their best to break the record for most people ever in the Big House.

I'm sure they'll air a few short Rangers segments between the main story line of the Penguins return to the Winter Classic in 2015. ;)

I have 8 tickets available for NYI game. They are in section 236. No obstructed view.
But they are split. 4 in row 3. 4 in row 21. If anyone interested, asking 250/seat.

I was at the game. It was shoulder to shoulder everywhere so not sure how they can fit more in there. Considering the prices they charged, they would have sold more if they could have. I'm sure the prices for the WC will be comparable but the school wouldn't get it all.

My nephew is a student there and he was bummed they only got 115k. He expected more. In any case, my personal opinion is that the school would not want their football team to be overshadowed by an NHL game. They make a big deal about the size of the stadium.

Did anyone get offered the opportunity to purchase extra tickets yet? My rep told me last week that Thursday would be the day they would be offered.

Is that being extended to all STH? And do you still have to buy tickets to both games at once?
