You get more money earlier than the week of the game. ESPECIALLY, if they are out of it. I generally go to 4 home games. I ref football and have games on sunday mornings, so would rather make some money in september and october, and generally go later in the season. Also handle my brother's tickets, (we have 6 between 3 of us, 2 each). Have a friend who pays a small premium to make up for what we lose on the pre-season who will usually take all 6 for 2 or 3 games. Rest, for the most part, I stubhub. I post on the ticket exchange, too but usually they are sold on stubhub before the exchange is even available.

ah cool.. where were you in the old stadium? 333 for me. Or did you just jump on board post-PSL?

we go to every game (except pre-season) for the most part.. except the odd one or two because of other obligations. Sunday morning tailgates = the best. Part of why I'm so excited for this game as I will definitely be breaking out the grill for Devs-Rangers.

I was in 339. My old boss came up on the list in 2005, but he didn't really want to go. So, he took them and I just paid for them each year. Then 348 at first. Then my friend who had 14 seats in 340 was looking to get rid of a bunch. My brothers and I took 6, and another guy took 2, and he kept 6. He had been selling 6 tickets to the same guy for years. In May 2011, two days before $ was due, the guy called him and said he couldn't take them. I would up selling most of mine, and then buying those. Found someone to start taking the tickets from old boss, and then we started buying these last season. Bought the PSL's from him in October.

I can buy up to 6 tickets for the Yankee Stadium games but I am only interested in the Devils game. If anybody is interested in the Islander game then contact me by email and we can work it out.

My time slot for buying tickets is Tuesday 8-27 @ 10:00 AM

Section 123, and yes..but that doesn't really mean much. Window just opened today for Devs STHs. Think the Rangers STH window doesn't open til next week.
I don't think it matters. Seems like each team was given separate blocks to sell for now.

Can someone tell me why the **** we're the away team both times again? Boggles my mind.

Why does it really matter? Also, can someone explain to me why the same question has been asked about these games about 50 times on this board? Boggles my mind.

Why would the (1) team in all of this who sells out every home game, have to give up (2) home games?

Apparently the Rangers (and all home teams in these games) get re-paid by the NHL for the games lost.

I definitely don't have any link to back that up, but RangerBoy posted this, and I trust him:

The NHL buys the home date from the team. The NHL gives the team losing the home date the money they would usually make in a home game. The Rangers aren't losing a home gate. Maybe there are other things tied into the decision. The NHL pays to rent the building. They buy the home date from the team. The NHL keeps everything. The beer money. Concessions. Ticket sales. Parking. Not that much parking at Yankee Stadium.

The NHL "buys" the game from the home team. Apparently, pays them the same revenue they would get for a sold-out home game. Profits then split amongst all 30 teams. I would think the Rangers would be getting something in addition to the simple revenue sharing, but have yet to see any what or if they do.

Tickets since 2004. Currently in the $56 section. My time is Thursday at 12:30pm.

Just purchased our tickets this morning. The only sections they had available for us were in the $229 and $349 price ranges.

I'm interested to see if that changes as people pick their seats in the next coming days...

We're in section 420A
