Well, now I know he’s not different than Quinn at least. Ride and die with the veterans, no matter how poorly they’re playing. Scapegoat young kids. Good to know. My expectations are now shot with this guy behind the bench. It took one period. Roll Nemeth the rest of the year, keep Strome on PP1, play Lafrenière and kakko, if they play at all, with Reaves on line four. Hell, he put Laf and Hunt out there with Reaves and none are centers. Totally disgusted with this coach.

Nemeth-Braun lived up to the billing. Great to see Gallant go to 9 forwards on the first day of the season that we had 12 actual NHL forwards available to play on the same night

I'll write this one off to 3 games in 4 days with only one practice for 4 new players.

Panarin and Fox NEED to be good for 60 minutes and that's rarely been the case all season.

Really REALLY bad game by Gallant. Benchings and lack of a timeout are a real head scratcher.

Get Nemeth out of my face forever immediately.

Well that was fun.

Complete implosion when the Devils lifted their game, we just couldn't go with them. Sloppy passes, no hustle and an unwillingness to engage with the opponent
Copp was pretty good, Chytil and Hunt were ok, Miller and Trouba were ok but D overall, team wide was crap

Some baffling game management decisions by GG throughout. I don't understand why you'd bench Laf and Hunt. I don't understand why you'd keep sending Strome out there after a stupid penalty if you were interested in sending 'a message'.

Like I said in the GDT someone really needs to start pressing the org on whether they are happy with the progress, development and uasage of our high-end draft picks

That was really frustrating. I thought they looked really good for the first 25 minutes of the game, and then after the Fox play the wheels fell off. Devils are the quicker and quite frankly more talented team and they showed it the last half of the game.

This WAS a trap game but they played about 30 minutes of excellent hockey and then after that one goal they looked shell shocked. They looked completely flustered rather than disinterested.
