Some nice plays in those clips.

Buchnevich, Stevens, Lettieri, Noreau, Halverson all with nice plays. And Curadi with the slick hands

I think the real gem here is Buchnevich so far.

UGh, so light on his feet still. Does this kid realize he's 6'3 ?? :p:

This should make you happy. :)

Mantha tried to take out Tambellini and Adam just knocks him away on his butt.

Tambellini plays big and is gathering confidence as the game goes on

Tambellini looks big and strong, not scrawny at all.

Tambellini pokes in a dirty goal after great pass from Bodie results in weak shot.

We'll see from her writeup later, but it certainly seemed like Tambo was getting more mentions than almost anyone else. Only one scrimmage, but encouraging.

Tambellini is listed at 165 lbs on the Rangers website. Any info on where his vitals are currently?

Great stuff from Leslie as usual. Excited to see some of these kids at Traverse City as well. Looks like Noreau was really trying to throw his weight around from the clips on BSU.

Does anyone know if Buch was playing center the whole scrimmage or was he just taking a few draws?

I don't see anyone at development camp having an impact on the Rangers this season--unless Skjei changes his mind and leaves school.

Not surprising given that Miller, Fast, Lindberg, Allen and McIlrath aren't there, Buchnevich has another year on his contract in the KHL and I believe Duclair sat out to rest his groin today.

Also, it's one day's scrimmage two months from camp. :)

I've almost grown to hate these camps, because all of our prospects are always made out to be superstars in the making and then they're just forgotten. Well, not all of them.

I'm very happy to hear that Buch looks good and has been in the area training.

I really think NYR have a chance of having something special in him as soon as next year.

I'm very interested to know the answer to this. Can Buchnevich play center?

Any chance Duclair makes the roster in October?

I'd say anything's possible, but I'd consider it a long-shot based on what's been said here. He hasn't played at all in the A, never mind the NHL.

I'd consider Fast, Miller, and Lindberg to be the guys most likely competing for any open forward spots.

That's about what I saw from him in the WHL. He gained a lot of weight during the year and learned to use his body a lot more. I think Bluenote just hasn't had a chance to watch him much, IIRC. He's a completely different player than he was when he was drafted in terms of how he uses his body.

Anyone knows if any full scrimmages will be made available? Can't someone mail or tweet these people to get them to put them online?

We have a lot of interesting kids at this thing, I don't get the negativity. The level of play there is real high, there might not be 1-2 kids already establsihed but we got more mature depth at least than previous years.
