The 3rd was awful, but Lundqvist looked like **** on the game tying goal. Not a rare sight this year Lundqvist letting his team down.

The shots were like 15-3 in the third period.

He looked like crap in the shootout, but this loss is not on him, at all. That was three weak clearing attempts in a row.

Not a bad game. Pretty evenly matched up throughout the game. Both goalies played great but think Lundqvist should have had the first goal. Otherwise good road game without Mcdonagh. Shoulda coulda won in OT.

Man does Colorado have some offensive talent

****. Sucks but whatever. Played a great team and got a point out of it. Not the end of the world. Still blows to have the game with 50 seconds to go and let it slip.

PP is atrocious again. Is it just in a slump or has it returned to its true form?

I don't understand this. It was shot in the slot from a bad giveaway by Dan G trying to clear the zone. I don't know how any one can blame that goal on Hank.

The obvious -- they allowed way too much in the third. Can't let that happen. With McD, might've been different, but it's happened with him in the lineup, too. Have to make sure you get that puck out...

Oh, well. Onwards. Two points and we're in. :yo:

Should have had the 2 points. Not encouraging to have that sort of 3rd period so close to the playoffs. Rangers lackluster board play and failure to clear the puck plagued them in the 3rd.

WTF is Hank getting blamed for? Girardi ****ed up twice with a dumb pinch and a horrible clearing attempt. Hank was good in this game.

What the **** is Richards doing in the shootout over Nash??? I don't care if he was 3-4 on the season, you put your best guns in the shootout. Richards isn't one of them.

I'd legitimately recall JT Miller and scratch Richards. Can't score, can't win a faceoff, can't win a battle on the boards, slow, can't play defense. Just horrible.

Not enough Girardi blame

Tonights loss is brought to you by........

1) The New York Rangers power play ( lack there of )

2) Dan Girardi's weak azz clear off the glass with 55 seconds to go

Happy to get a point against a really good team while missing McD.

Wish it could have been two points, but realistically, the magic number is two now, and they have some easy competition on the horizon. I'm not sure the lost point will end up meaning much of anything at all.

Odd D-pairs. I would have thought we'd see Staal - Girardi again with McD gone.

Monkey off his back my ass.

St. Louis with possibly his worst game yet. Caps it off by missing in the shootout.

The first goal is completely his fault. Ya, Moore played the 2 on 1 horrible, and Girardi pinched. The reason he pinched is because he expects a veteran HOFer to not pass the puck off Varlamov's pad and break the avalanche out.

Yuck, what a disgrace. The guy was amazing until he came here. This team has no luck.

Richards is mostly to blame for the PP woes imo. Plus, MSL hasn't been able to inject himself all that well on special teams.

Absolute crapfest. No Ranger looked good. Completely outclassed in all areas. Back to Renney/Torts prevent defense all third period. Flyers, Wings, and Jackets have more skill, heart, and grit than this sad sack team and all three will probably pass the Rangers down the stretch.

Pretty bummed. Hank had some great saves but was weak on both goals. Moore was ****-tarded on the first goal.

Could've won this game. Really hated their game in the 3rd from just about everyone.

Overall a good road trip, though. Glad it's over.

Man honestly are you even looking at the replays on the 2nd goal. Shot from Hanks right blocked, failed clear bounces to his left and he moves that way looking through 5 bodies to try and find the puck, he moves back towards his right as Barrie comes out from behind said 5 bodies and puts it inside the far post. It was a great shot and would have been an absurd save.

I thought we were going to lose tonight so I'm not really disappointed. Would've preferred Nash in the shootout instead of Richards. He's played like ass recently.
