As usual the Kreider line did good, but Bishop protected the goal like it was his King. However, that line has been consistent on opportunities (not goals) so we seem to forget them when they are playing as they usually do. We seem to only compliment them when they score nowadays.

Lots of the forays into the Tampa zone were one and done chances. I did not really see any great work by any line tonight.
Full credit to Bishop and the way the Lightning supported him.
It was one of the worst games by the Rangers this season, including the trip west.

St.Louis taking Richards to ****in school. If I was the beaver I'd be embarrassed to ever show my face In Florida ever again, 6 years older, 3X better.

Yeah the system is why the defense all played like horse **** tonight, I forgot :shakehead

YEA! The system can only be blamed for us not scoring goals, and when the coach has been here at least 50 games.

Are people finally coming around to the fact that our players just aren't that great?

The Rangers get shutout more than 20% of the time this season, and score 1 goal or less more than 40% of the time. That is incredibly pathetic.

Well he hasnt been a superstar lately

He just came back from being out with a concussion for a month and he's supposed to just ****ing come back and play like a superstar? Get a clue. He's been great since he's returned. I don't know what your expectations are, but they're ridiculous.

SA,

I never said Erat was a bad hockey player. He makes $4.5 million this year and next. McPhee stated he won't retain salary. He is 32 years old. He is more of the same. We need a true scorer. Erat isn't and has never been that. 22 goal average is not a true scorer. The last time he reach 20+ goals was 2009-2010.

The contacts only for one more year and he is something that can actually be acquired without costing much and without removing much off of our current roster. We can make up extra cap room by getting rid of Pyatt's and Pouliot's and such. It's a realistic move as opposed to a fantasy move looking for a Kane type player. I know he hasn't reached 20+ but he's had that pace every year (he's missed games due to injury). He would help us. Of course if we could do something better I would obviously prefer that but if this is a guy we can get for a low cost he would clearly help us.

Im waiting for a big game from one of our forwards. Maybe a goal two assists? 2 goals? Can someone step up soon?

Turned it off after the 2nd.

This team has been hovering around .500 for what, 2-3 weeks now? They are the epitome of inconsistent and mediocre.

Last week's shooting gallery against the Bruins with only 1 goal to show for it wasn't due to a scoring slump, it was indicative of the fact that they don't have enough finishers. The same problem reared its ugly head again tonight. The Rangers have been bottom 5 in scoring and aren't showing any signs of substantially improving upon that. They are worse at even strength than they were in previous years and the PP is still a problem.

This has been the most frustrating season for me to watch since 2009-10. Every time it seems like the team is about to take step forward, they take a step back. It could be a blessing in disguise that so many players aren't signed beyond this year. Too bad Sather is still in charge.

A goal or two? I expect our scorer to score. Are those ridiculous expectations?

They aren't this bad though...Like I know the defense isn't that bad.

I just can't wrap my head around how we made Ben Bishop look like Hasek. He's gotta let ONE fluke goal in right?

I've had it with Lundqvist's softies and the inability to put the puck in the net on offense.

It might be time to look to unload Hank for some offensive talent.

Team is going to remain half decent, and even if they don't make the playoffs, they're still going to be drafting 12th or 13th. Not any superstar scorers there.

Couldn't agree more. I'm just afraid that Sathers gonna ruined this team by acquiring another high priced overthehill veteran after beaver is bought out.

Our players arent as special as people thought, just like BRB said.

He has a goal, they're not very easy to come by when your whole ****ing team is devoid of offensive talent. AND you've been out for a damn month!

The blame should literally be on everyone except Nash, in a few games if he's still not producing, then I'll be mad at him.
