Again, props to Chris Drury for having that Little League World Series-winning inner strength to walk away from Ryan Money In the Bank Strome and go out and sign Vincente Over The Top Trocheck to rebuild Artemis II Panarin better, faster, stronger.

Still think Glen Sather runs the team? We'd have Strome playing with Bobby Ryan and Kyle Turris and Erik Karlsson leading the defense.

Very tame in here after this win. I figured everyone would be fired up & ready to storm the Bastille.

For now

Trouba continues to be comically awful or downright awesome when he plays. There is literally no in between.

We saw some sick shit tonight we can't unsee. That Zib pass to Kreids for the first goal. Kakko toying with all six Wild players. Basically that whole sequence on the Panarin goal.

On both sides, that 2nd Boldy goal was nasty too.

If Kravtsov is anything resembling pretty good the top 9 is going to be a problem for people.

Panarin-Trocheck is clearly the heterosexual version of Panarin-Strome. Very proud of Drury and the Rangers for being so progressive and making such an against the grain partnership possible on the ice.
Posts like this is a key example of why you haven’t been perma-banned yet.

Still, tread carefully my friend. Beware the ides of, uh, October…. Or something.

The talent on this team is like nothing I can remember seeing up and down the lineup . There are so many players, laf, kakko, fox, panarin, Miller, chytil where they get the puck and rag it like an nhl 23 all star vs new players. The crisp passing, good volume of shots, ability to work the points, and then you get guys like kreider finishing in front at an elite level.
I had to quote this post from gwell. It is so on point. Last year, I said the same thing, and how it was such a joy to watch this team perform. To think, we will have perhaps even more thrills and excitement than we did last year, will cause me to double my heart medication. Honestly, with Panarin shaking and baking, Kakko with the puck on a string, those tic tac toe PP goals, Miller skating like a man possessed, and Reavo's crunching hits,... it might be too much for my heart to take. I'm gonna have to get into the habit to medicate before every game. LOL!

I say it already is. We're doing this without Blais either

I think it already might be once Blais recovers from his weekly injury.

He’s going to inject a real punch in that top-9 with his skillset and physicality.

Ideally, he’s on our 4th line if the golden bitch can live up to .0093% of JOVO’s idiotic expectations, but even in place of Kravtsov, I think he can really solidify our 3rd line.

Tomorrow Halak will likely be in net. This is the Jets opening night. And they are not nearly as good a home team as the Wild are. And the fact that they have been sitting around for a week since their last preseason game, while we already have two games under our belt,... gives us a decidedly lopsided advantage to take 3 games in 4 nights. I see the good times continuing to roll.

I just hope that everyone here can find it in themselves to enjoy this in real time. This team may or may not win the Cup, but this is for sure the best iteration of this team in at least a generation.

That “second window” might still sound tempting but you need to realize we have multiple elite players in this lineup and GIF young depth backing them up.

Even if Kakko and Laf progress to become Zib and Panarin level players in five years, the likelihood that we’ll have the next Kakko and Laf backing them up is slim to none. Enjoy this.
