With the Saints loss and 1 more game between the Raiders game, guessing that NO shuts down Carr if they are officially eliminated with either a TB win or a NO loss to GB next week. Unlikely to see that Revenge Game.

Carr, like in LV has an injury guaranteed for 2025, and he's already out this past week with a Concussion and left hand injury. Both should heal before the SB. Doubt NO lets Carr play through it against his old team. Likely a new HC will get to make the call on the QB.

It was ugly. Only reason Ridder’s stat line will seem ok is the prevent D that ATL played.
But wtf is it that he can’t take a snap under center?

LV finish against MAC Jones and the jags at home then road to NO against either Haener or Rattler and then home to Herbert and chargers.

I figure NO shuts down Carr to save on the injury guarantee and let new HC decide with the GM on the QB for 2025. Could very well return with Carr for 2025.

I can't see AP losing job with team he was given, especially as the guys are playing for him
Defence played well. If the special teams don’t implode and have 2 punts blocked for short fields who k ows khow many of those 10 points Atl gets after say a legit 40 yard punt? Plus the 2 points because their returner fair caught a punt at the 3?

But that’s really the only unit playing worth anything. Special teams was destroyed and O was nothing until Atl played prevent. So don’t let the 200 yard Ridder threw for cloud your judgement. Raiders front office signed a guy whom they didn’t trust to take a snap under center all game. What is that?

Sin City
Raiders plane had mechanical issues. Players deplaned and sent home. Arrived after midnight local time. Did meetings at Raiders facility rather than at hotel.

Raiders picking #6 in the draft.

Titans, Browns, Giants, (3 win teams) Patriots, Jaguars, Raiders (4 win teams).

Assuming that those bottom clubs opt to keep their picks (taking a QB), leaves Raiders plenty of options for areas of weakness. Be it OL, with Campbell at OT, Johnson at CB, Carter at OLB/DE, McMillian at WR.

Pierce, went 0-6 in division. Raiders, in their division are drastically behind in HC and QB. Need major improvements if they are going to be able to challenge for the division and Playoffs in the short term future.

New HC coming

Not shocked. He went from smoking a cigar beating KC in Xmas 2023 to going 0-6 vs the AFC west in 2024. Maybe he could have been a Campbell type HC, but he lacked help on the offensive side of the ball. No QB and no quality coaches there.
