That's a good sign for both Mayer and the Raiders. Hopefully, the guy's life is on solid footing.

Consistent with how it was regarded for this upcoming draft.2025 NFL Draft: Looking for a franchise QB? Time is running out for a unicorn to surface

Does not look like a good QB draft upcoming.
For those hoping for a Raiders tank, the Browns beat the Steelers to get to 3 wins.
Leave Raiders, Giants, Titans, Jags as the remaining 2 win teams. With Ten/Jax still to play both Divisional games against each other.
Raiders still to play the Jags.
That's it for the H2H between the 2 win teams.
I'm not the biggest Sanders fan for QB, but rather the Raiders just draft him vs having to trade up to get him by flipping picks and give up 2025 2nd, 2026 first and something else given what SF gave Mia (2 extra first and a third) and Car gave Chi (extra 1st, 2 seconds, and Moore).
Don't know too much about Ward yet, but from limited readings, he's more an offscript QB so that is going to require a top notch OC to fix.
If arch does stay at Texas for 25 and 26 to get around 28 total starts in college, he would then go for the 27 draft. Same as Riola draft as he’s a FR at Nebraska and playing well for a FR.I know you talked about it being two years away but I think of how set up the team would be if Manning could be had. Throwing to Bowers, having Peyton and Eli and Brady all with an interest to help him develop in the NFL. Could set the Raiders up to be relevant for over a decade.
