Well, shows how badly the front office has been. that's also with just 2 PO appearances as well.

I mean, that 2nd draft by Zeigler/McDaniels, sheesh...

Wilson, never liked taking a guy who was hurt and not ready for the season. Needed a big year 2 to justify the pick and so far, very disappointing. Liked Gonzalez the CB instead of Wilson pick.
Mayer, liked the pick. too bad he had his personal issues to deal with. Hope he's completely over them and they can run a strong 2TE set with Bowers.
Young, cut after 1 season.
Tucker, speed WR who is likely a WR3 for most clubs at the moment. Not sure he can be a WR2 down the line.
Bennett, probably the best pick to be a starting CB in the NFL long term.

Does not look like a good QB draft upcoming.
Consistent with how it was regarded for this upcoming draft.

Sanders, the best of the group.
Ward, like Caleb leans heavily into off platform, so doing the basics can be a challenge for him. Will frustrate OC in running the offense as designed.
Ewers, so far really Nix type upside. Don't see him being a game changer, but should run an offense.
Beck, I would not draft him in round 1. Not sure he's a starter in the NFL.
Milroe, needs development as a passer.

I don't envision 2 QBs going top 5. Ewers, shouldn't go top 10 based on merit. But, you have multiple teams needing a QB in 2025.

Beaten badly by Miami who was on a short week with a cross country flight home, while coming off a bye week.

For those hoping for a Raiders tank, the Browns beat the Steelers to get to 3 wins.
Leave Raiders, Giants, Titans, Jags as the remaining 2 win teams. With Ten/Jax still to play both Divisional games against each other.

Raiders still to play the Jags.

That's it for the H2H between the 2 win teams.

I'm not the biggest Sanders fan for QB, but rather the Raiders just draft him vs having to trade up to get him by flipping picks and give up 2025 2nd, 2026 first and something else given what SF gave Mia (2 extra first and a third) and Car gave Chi (extra 1st, 2 seconds, and Moore).

Don't know too much about Ward yet, but from limited readings, he's more an offscript QB so that is going to require a top notch OC to fix.

I know you talked about it being two years away but I think of how set up the team would be if Manning could be had. Throwing to Bowers, having Peyton and Eli and Brady all with an interest to help him develop in the NFL. Could set the Raiders up to be relevant for over a decade.

If arch does stay at Texas for 25 and 26 to get around 28 total starts in college, he would then go for the 27 draft. Same as Riola draft as he’s a FR at Nebraska and playing well for a FR.

But if you are waiting on Arch, you need to trade Crosby. Don’t think nfl teams think 2 years down the line.

Now there's a chance they grab Daniel Jones and try to win a few games this season with the Raiders listed as one of possible destinations. NFL is wild sometimes

QB is so hard to come in and learn a new offense. Plus timing with the WR.

I agree I've not seen much of Jones but have heard he isn't good either. Wouldn't rule it out though. If they don't get Sanders or Ward in the draft, what do they do? Grab Cousins who is likely to be available? Still draft a QB early?

This class isn't worth taking a QB in Rd 1 past the first 2 guys. Ewers, I believe the comp would be Nix for him. Decent enough athlete, but the arm for a 5 star recruit doesn't seem to be there. Need a Kliff or Johnson OC for him. If you run it back with a Getsy, Waldron level OC, he won't develop.

Beck, I would stay away from until rd 3 or later as I think he's a backup. Allar, has the size but he operates like a game manager. Might be the scheme PSU runs or simply the coaches don't trust him to air it out, but his stats are insanely pedestrian. 225 yards per game, with 16 TD to 5 INT with a 81.6 QBR in 10 games. 1 monster game vs USC and 1 great game vs Kent St. accounting for 700 yards passes. The other 8 games would be the remaining 1500 yards, so under 200 yards per game. 3 games under 150 yards, vs OSU, Wisconsin and Illinois. If I was Allar, I'd return for a SR season or transfer to another program where I get to showcase myself more.
