I don’t know. If you get a wing, it probably bumps Mikey. Because you need either Pro or Willy, each of whom play a solid 200 foot game, to cover for Ovi - who usually doesn’t. And bringing in a new center and giving him a month to learn to play with Ovi seems like a really tall order - would require someone who plays a solid, two-way game at C. Maybe that’s O’Reilly - but 34 year old ROR and 39 year old Ovi could be a tough watch in the D zone.

I could see bumping Mikey for Rantanen, but it’s a pipe dream. Canes will want too much and they probably wont consider moving him to us. So a better scoring touch on the 3rd line is what I’d look for

Or you can take a top 6 and play him down. Just want depth and flexibility. I don’t want Eller and Raddysh in the top 6.

this off season still has to be about finding a way to take mika out to pasture. i don't care if you have to acquire an accused child molester with a 15M AAV. Anything to get away from this soft pansy who still wakes up in the middle of the night with nervous excitement over his 5 goal game but suddenly has the confidence of a 5'4 200lb man at a speed dating event the moment he steps onto the ice.

I think it’s also time to give some recognition to Carlson. Super underrated play on the OT winner and he doesn’t get an assist.

That stick lift on the backdoor tap-in pass to JT Miller avoids a sure goal and sets up the 2 on 1 the other way for the win.

We like to criticize him a lot but he doesn’t always get the credit he deserves.

Deserved win Imo, rangers second goal should never have happened, and they weren’t all that dangerous offensively to me. We win that 3-1 going away if they make that call right
