Or it could be said that at the end of the day all he wanted was to be a Leaf.At the end of the day, all he wants is money.

$8m+ is a hell of a lot of money for someone who has only had 1 great season.
That is a hell of a risk by the Leafs. If Raddysh continues that form for the next few years, great deal, if he is a one season wonder, that is gonna be brutal contract.
That was a trade for signing rights though, the most recent sign and trades are Marner and Severson.Seems like a good addition for TOR. I could see a 3rd to TBL (in line with Guentzel trade from CAR)
A Canadiens fan hating on anything leafs. Shocking lolClassic Leafs. They’ve loved playing a premium for old players on the back nine of their careers for 20 years now.
Numbers aside, this is a player with average skating and play in his own zone. There is a reason he’s been a career fringe NHLer. To pay and play him like a top 4 dman because he had a career year racking up PP points with the Hart trophy winner is foolish.
I cannot wait for Leafs fans to be crying that his deal is way too long and he should be bought out. I give it ~18 months.
He's 308 x 8.500 isn't that bad if that's what it comes on as
The million dollar question.. He improves Toronto blueline and adds a element we just didn't have on the back end, but it's super risky if he regresses to 40points.I wonder if his 70 point season is the exception or the rule
Wonder what the Leafs have to give up
