Quebec Nordiques Jersey Concepts -- More updates added!

Looks pretty good, but I think they should change nothing:

The 90s look is back, and the NHL needs some baby blue.
 
I just hope QC doesn't go all super crazy with the french stuff the way the Habs do with their coaches and what not.

Too "Sweden" for me btw, the jerseys.

Just brought it up because I remember at the time it made the new paper in Quebec as it was supposed to be their new jersey but of course ended up being irrelevant as they moved.

OP, i like your new ship logo! :nod:

Colour palette is cool but it already exists so you should try it with the original Nordiques colours.

I like them, but as others said, their old color scheme was great. The sailboat and fleur de lis logo is nicer than their old logo imo. Was never a fan of the igloo N logo.

Oh and thanks for making my day, work sucked today, but your thread just brought back my smile, i cant wait for habs vs nords game.

Glad I could make your day! :) Which ship logo do you mean?
 
I just hope they don't go boring like the Jets when they got their team back. A more muted blue and red, yawn.

Be bold my friends, be bold. Old school is cool again, maybe just go with the last set they wore.
 
Yeah replace that blue with the original Nordiques blue & that yellow with white. Maybe switch the sail boat in red so all the original colours are honoured then mail it to Quebecor! :nod:
 
Outside fans perspective coming in, I think the last form of the Nords jerseys were very good. Well thought out and simply... There is no reason to reinvent the wheel here with the Nords coming back. Take what you had, and just polish it up with some tweeks that bring that classic look into the modern era of hockey. Simple as that.
 
I appreciate the work you put into these. Clearly, some people are going to oppose anything new, but that wouldn't make for a very interesting thread.

When I first saw the ship logo, it didn't do much for me, but when it is put on the white sweater with the circle behind it, I really like it. The only thing I'd tweak is the color of the blue, moving it away from the one used by the Blues. My first thought is something more of a medium blue like the old sweater, but I'm terrible at design, so take that with a grain of salt.

Only other thought would be to add a fleurs de lis to one or more of the sails or the hull instead of inside the outer circle.

Keep up the good work!

I really like the design of the most recent bottom ones with the red accents. Logo isn't bad, but I think a varient on the old one would probably look nicer.

Overall a great effort and that Nordiques blue is very nice
