Can't edit...computer keeps locking up...game on, can't post much...BUT yeah Talbot made a desperation/ arguably lucky reflex save with an arm, after that first juicy rebound...BUT by then he had gotten himself outa position, leaving a mostly open net....two bits he does that again and again... in a manner reminiscent of old / bad MA Fleury...
So he's lucky when he makes a good save? Alright.

It is interesting, as Peters must either be seeing something that the viewing public isn't, or is hesitant to switch up the line combo's at this stage of the tournament. Whenever Duchene has performed well at the WCs (2013, 2015), he's been at center. Not to mention he and McDavid don't have complimentary playing styles, and Duchene is a LHed shot. Very curious.

I'm more inclined to blame Dave Cameron. His line decisions in Ottawa were always really baffling.

Hall has been far better than Duchene in this tournament. Duchene has a great knack for looking really good while accomplishing nothing. I think it is called Afinogenov syndrome.

I bet on Canada winning with atleast 3 goals, but I sincerely hope they don't score anymore so I don't have to listen to their goal song.

I expected 4-0 or 5-1 before this game. That wasn't a pessimistic guess, this is the worst Swedish team I can remember. Bad on paper, pretty much terrible in execution.

A thin offense, terrible defense and ok goaltending, that can't execute anything that has been the trademark of Swedish hockey for the past 30 years.

I'm just fine with this pylon team getting crushed and that sorry excuse of a coach is gone. That they even reached the QF was an achievement.

The Tanev--Reilly pairing are lightyears better than the rest of the D-Pairings on team Canada.

Just so solid.

Benning is such a Terrible GM Toronto could probably get him cheap.

Well they werent better than Ceci Murray... Until the incredibly bright coaching staff decided to break up the best pair. Dave Cameron you're the man!
