Taylor Hall is really setting the pace for the squad today. Relentless all period.

Canada really pressured the Swedes.

And can we please end the Duchene McDavid thing, they don't make sense together. Each guy needs the puck.

Also liked Matheson and Stone that period.
 
That's how you attack the passive, shell defense of the European teams on the big ice. Use your superior size, skill, and speed to constantly wear down the defenders and look for a hole.

They need to keep the speed and tenancity up for 40 more minutes because any offensive zone turnover could be the odd-man break that Sweden is looking to exploit.

The Tanev--Reilly pairing are lightyears better than the rest of the D-Pairings on team Canada.

Just so solid.

Benning is such a Terrible GM Toronto could probably get him cheap.
 
Sweden needs to slow down the pace.

Canada has more skill and speed so we need some coaching ...

He has been useless this entire tournament. He's clearly lost playing on the RW. I wonder why Peters hasn't moved him to centre yet.

Can't edit...computer keeps locking up...game on, can't post much...BUT yeah Talbot made a desperation/ arguably lucky reflex save with an arm, after that first juicy rebound...BUT by then he had gotten himself outa position, leaving a mostly open net....two bits he does that again and again... in a manner reminiscent of old / bad MA Fleury...

It is interesting, as Peters must either be seeing something that the viewing public isn't, or is hesitant to switch up the line combo's at this stage of the tournament. Whenever Duchene has performed well at the WCs (2013, 2015), he's been at center. Not to mention he and McDavid don't have complimentary playing styles, and Duchene is a LHed shot. Very curious.
